So I'm feeling a bit down right now, and I felt like starting a topic just 'cause I could probably be doing something more productive.... like cleaning up my upstairs, or something... and productivity is gross >_>
Also, I have to sneeze.
But yeah, what do you do when you're feeling sad or low?
I try to distract myself by dressing up pretty and taking photos, although today that backfired as I realized I was grooooooss... but, now I've gone to my fail-safe method of listening to Journey.
No matter how sad I am, Steve Perry, and Journey, always make me feel better.
Also, looking at photos of the animals I've pet sat, or just know, doing silly pet things.
And this old video I found of my co-worker that I'd forgotten about... I miss him so emo
But help me cheer up, give me ideas, please? >>;

Listening to very "peppy" music will usually lift my mood a bit. Something from Hairspray, something I would dance to. Those usually help.
Or watching a cheesy romantic drama on YouTube or some other site, a real feel good romantic comedy(they're usually Korean shows with subtitles because everything else usually fails for me). Something that will make me go 'Awww' and think only of what is going on in the drama or comedy and nothing of what was bothering me.
Hope maybe that helped a bit.. I know everyone is different.

Happy music is my favourite too. I've got some tunes that I know I'll automatically dance to, especially Mika and Sandi Thom. I always listen to them while dancing through the house. XD That usually cheers me up.
Sometimes, a gooood long hour in the bath helps too. Just giving your body that little bit extra care: a long yummy-smelling bath, lotions, etc.etc. X3

I play sims...a lot...
Like, I had 10 children from one sim group alone, part of that was that I was trying to beat my roomate who really wants to have a bunch of children, while I only want to have 3.
And then I somehow managed to make them forget they're related to each other when I moved the whole town... so I've had uncles marry neices and such... It's a good thing I'm not god, 'cause I'm too lazy to make new people when I can have family marry itself...

lol, I'd call my boyfriend and be like "MY SIM IS PREGNANT AGAIN!" like, every day. Then I'd explain who is married to who and who is related to who how.
Now I can't even remember all of the kids 'til I'm playing them.

Music, a long bath, or a really violent monster movie that I can imagine certain people starring in, as the people who get eaten. 'Cause I have bad days like that, alot. Jurrassic Park is a good one. twisted
