I think we all know the ugly sons of bitches Hollywood throws at us.
Those deformed mutants that for some reason feel like they have to scream a whole bunch and make a load of ruckus when switching forms. Though in the movie Blood and Chocolate they took and whole knew interpritation and made them glow like the moon itself and were true wolves. Though any articles of clothing they wore dissapeared into the same void that eats our socks...

I loved the previews for Blood and Chocolate. Finally a movie that doesn't make werewolves a deformed monster (maybe the director is a werewolf). Way to go. I think that Blood and Chocolate is a book, but I'd have to look that up.

Yep, blood and chocolate is a book. It's by Annette Kurtis Clause. Very good in my opinion. Though nothing like the book.
And that is quite all right, I think we all hate library computers for one reason or another.

Aye, Blood & Chocolate is one of my top ten fictional books. Personaly, the book exceedes the movie, but then again, I think all books are better then the movies they spawn.

Anyways, yes B & C is one of the few movies/books that I've found that the werewolf is not evil {Or at least most of them arn't} and/or a crazed blood-thirst beast.

Lol, I forgot about Rafe and Astrid, the few blood thirsty ones. Though it's just like people. In our society there are murderers and then there's the rest of us. Same concept, just modified to fit with werewolves I guess.
I agree, the books are usually always much better than the films.

There has only been a few books that I thought were better than the movies, but Blood and Chocolate wasn't one. I agree with you about Rafe and Astrid. All it takes is a few bloodthirsty werewolves to ruin your entire reputation. It's a smear campain against therians.

Lol, I guess so.
But there are therians, such as myself, who do enjoy the hurting and crippling of humans. But not all, we only pain the ignorant and impudent. The friendly we keep a watch on. We're called sadists, but on a completely different level.

So that's why I'm always beating up my little brother.

Lol, probably. Though I'm also a masochist. I enjoy getting hurt and also enjoy devling it out. Not the kind of masochist that gets all freaky when you hit them just the kind that likes pain.
Umm...other than needing therapy, it's relatively normal..I think. But again it could have something to do with your animal side.

I loved blood and chocolate... especially that the werewolves were mainly quite and sneaky... but not evil. If underworld had made that same approach it would have rocked... but they made the vampires so beautiful and then the lycans were like... deformed.

i am a therian... a wolf... but I would never harm a human... never... besides... I was raised by humans, housed and fed by them... I just stay quiet and sometimes throw some tough punches if I am annoyed enough. I often feel like a sideshow attration... people will even go so far as to throw random junk at me... thats when the wolf goes mad and I have to restrain myself from punching and biting... wich is usually through biting and hurting myself... I self punish alot... perhaps it's the human inside of me

Lol, the human temper we have is very bothersome no? I think just maybe if we could rid ourselves of that there would be nothing human left just the wolf or animal isinde.

*shrug* we have many benifits... while wolves are beautiful and strong, intelligent animals, they sadly do not have well used thumbs or the ability oof hman speech and such... and humans while being more scientific and able to plan ahead, do not have the wonderful teeth and claws of a wolf, not the phyisical strength or bond with nature... as werewolves we get the best of both sides.

it bothers me how humans consider themselves "dominant" to all other species just because they THINK they are more "intelligent"

yes... humans can be considered a very intelligent species, but wolves are very intelligent too, yes in a different way than humans but in that way they could be considered (as I do) even more intelligent.

did that ramble make any sense?

It makes quite a lot of sense. I think we've all had that though at least once in our life times.
