Here’s the third newsletter! It’s almost the end of summer vacation, or your vacation has already ended, and for that reason, -plays grim reaper theme song-, we should all have a party. Although, -glances around-, it seems as though most people are busy. Or just deciding not to post…. Anyways, you can COMMENT in this thread. Last newsletter, no one commented on really anything. For that reason, PLEASE COMMENT here. –nods-
Massive Roleplay
One of the biggest things that I’m sad about is the fact that since last month, no one has posted their profiles for the roleplay. There are only four people who have and at least ten people isn’t too much to ask, right? In any case, please get your profiles in so the roleplay will be able to start. It’s been too long that the roleplay has been alive, yet it has not been open. So, once again, GET YOUR PROFILES IN!

Affiliates
Two new affiliates join us this month..:Koiji Romansu:. Literate Romance Rps and The Wonderful World of Romance. Both are romance-oriented guilds, both with their own unique twists.
.:Koiji Romansu:. Literate Romance Rps
Koiji Romansu is a literate roleplaying guild meant for romance roleplays. It can be any type of roleplay, as long as it has romance elements. The difference between this one and others is the school system. The school system is based along the lines of the high school system; freshmen, sophmores, juniors and seniors. Each new member starts out as a freshman. As you grow within the guild, you graduate to different grades. As with the school theme, there is a school where if your roleplaying skills can’t match with the one paragraph post minimum, you head to there to get better. As well, they have cookies. <3
The Wonderful World of Romance
The Wonderful World of Romance is a semi-literate roleplaying guild meant for romance roleplays as well. It can be any type as well, as quoted here:Quote: There is one exception of course, there has to be romance in it. It doesn't matter if it's the most bloodiest and violent roleplay ever, there should be romance in it.
New Forums
As I’m sure some of you have noticed, there are two new forums; ‘Roleplaying’ and ‘Recycled Topics’. These two forums are to divide things up a little more. Any roleplaying thread can be posted in the ‘Roleplaying’ forum and all topics that have expired, will be moved to the ‘Recycled Topics’ forum. This is so that the main page can have the announcements for the guild alone. That way, you’ll know when something has been updated: like the newsletter. So, is this a good idea?
Mini Newsletter
Yes, there is a title that said ‘Mini Newsletter’. I mean it. For the time being, a pm will be sent out to each member with the updates of the guild. Although that’ll only last until the guild becomes more active, which I hope will be soon. Even if you do receive the mini newsletter, most of the information of it will be at the guild so its good to come and post here anyways.

Massive Roleplay--
I noticed that too... I would really love to get started in the roleplay here, but I am having terrible trouble mixing up a good character profile! Geez. Everytime I try I get distracted, or feel like I'm losing brain cells...
Fantasy roleplays are not something I've tried much before, so I'm kinda just like... "I have a name and a picture in my head... now what?"
You're a really great guild leader, you deserve a guild that's active! :[
Grr. I'll get started on that profile ASAP. [Meaning... when my brain functions properly.]
Rules
I honestly think you shouldn't get rid of the three posts a week rule, because it just encourages us to be lazy. biggrin
I think, maybe, we all aren't posting for lack of motivation, and with school on the way [mine is, at least. Monday.] we have increased distractions.
Just keep reminding us that this guild is HERE, I think we'll [or at least I] will get into the flow of things...
Affiliates
Love the affiliates. I got to this guild through one of it's affiliates... "School of Dedicated Roleplayers", so I think they are really benificial.

Mini Newsletter
I LOVE this, personally!
It's a brilliant idea. It reminded me to get my butt in gear and come back to this place!
And considering you have the effort to not only make newsletters, but mail them out...
that's something I admire.
You're awesome, the guild's awesome. Your members are just lazy/busy. biggrin

Its good to hear people are interested in the massive roleplay. 3nodding
As for fantasy roleplays, the only really, really, really good part of it is that as long as your character fits its era, it can look like anything. Good Luck with your profile.

Although, you don't have to admire that.
The 3 posts per week is a good idea? ^^ Well... then, so far its staying. I can understand why people haven't been posting that often. I mean, I don't have school for a while so I can hang out and also, summer is pretty busy for others too.
So the affiliates are a good idea then. That's good to hear. ^^

Massive Roleplay - I like the massive roleplay, but I've never really gotten around to making a profile for it... and for some reason, I find it a little intimidating..? Dx And I'm not really sure about what to do about the
Rules - I agree with Jesska, ban them if they do not post, unless they have a good excuse... like me. I was in NY, away from home so I couldn't get on. Then when I did get back, I had 2 days to get ready for school, which sucked. And then I was busy with school, until now that is...
Affiliates - Yea! Affiliates! So.. how many do we have now, and do you want some more, 'cause I could maybe help you with that... :'D
New Forums - Wonderful idea! Now it's even more organized, I coudln't have done it better myself! This guild is much more organized than many of the other guilds that I am a part of... One question: what do you mean by 'all topics that have expired'? Like do they actually have a time limit or does a ropic expire when nobody has posted in it for a while? o.o
Mini Newsletter - I like the idea of the mini newletters. It's very convinient [ did I spell that right? - too lazy to look in a dictionary - ].

Its good to hear that people think the rules are a good idea. And don't worry about school and blah... I have it too....
Hmmm... help with affiliates would be... helpful. XD

Well, that's good.
I never thought of it as being very organized though....
Alright, mini newsletters.... -check- Good idea. Well then. Another one will be coming out soon.
Edit:When I mean expired. I mean that no one has posted in them for a while. Like a month, two months, blah. They are moved to the Recycled Topics and if no one reclaims them after a few more months, they are deleted. Gone. Bye Bye. ...Together.

I don't know why, but it is intimidating. When I look at the profiles, I say to myself, "Whoa! Look at all that writing! You're gonna have to make your profile look pretty and long. It'll take you an hour or so, since it takes you forever to write profile." Then I read the profiles and tell myself, "You can't write as well as those people do." Dx
Organized guild = Good guild.
Unless there are no members, a mean owner, or bad rps.
And you have none of those.
Okay, the 'Recycled Topics' thing makes sense to me now.
