SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!
Alright, so in Book 7, George gets his ear blown off. It can't be healed, and eventually he just lives with a hole in the side of his head.
I say, Replace it with an extendible ear!
Think about it! it would look fine, and he could do the who "inspector Gadget" thing and pull his ear around... It would be totally sweet!
Thoughts?

I actually came across this idea in fiction alley, another HP forum. I thought it was hilarious, because it was suggested that George would use an extendable ear to his hole and call himself "Mad-Ear Weasley."

I can't imagine why that wouldnt work... although he would probably have to tinker with the design of the extendable ears a bit, since they arent supposed to be used thus

One George would have too much fun with it and two I think that he uses it to pick up girls and to show his bravery.

You know what? Moody got to actually look through things like clothes (and don't even try to tell me he didn't, he may have been nuts, but he was still a guy! And you know that sicko Barty Crouch Jr. was having all sorts of fun with it!), so in my opinion, if George wants to us his ear to find out some things about a girl, that's just his own way of finding it out. I'd rather he learn about me by using his ear to know all my secrets than he look through my personal things when I'm not looking like some guys do.
