The Arcane Chateau is located off the souther coast of Florida. Far enough off the main land to resemble a pebble on the horizon. Night Island is a place of pleasure and secrecy. The only way to access the island is by private boat or plane and unless you have been granted access by the islands overseer he will surely tell you to turn tail and go about your business.
With luxurious white beaches both public and private, the island is the ideal place for a quiet yet romantic and spontaneus get away. The only place of residence on the island is Arcane, a large mansion with enough rooms to house an army and amenities galore, you would wonder why anyone would want to leave this place of solitude.
No one knows why but every ten years there is a ceremony that will determine the next Mistress and Masters of the chateau. It has been nine years since James and Jasmine, no relation, were given the right to rule, not only the wondrous building, and it's finances, but the entire island. Now is the Summer of their discontent. It's about time they started the search for the new heir and heiress, time flies when you're having fun, and the time to hand over the rein would soon be at hand. Key

:~:Rules:~:1. Abide by Gaia Online's ToS. Otherwise we will have to close and that will make me very very disappointed in you.
2. This is a third party Role Play. I will not stand for anyone posting outside of that format. So I will give you an example of what to do and what not to do.
DON'T: I walked into the club, it was hot so I removed my jacket and took a seat. A girl was looking at me so I waved her over and we chatted.
DO: James walked into the club, it was warm so he removed his jacket and took a seat. A girl was looking in his direction so he waved her over and they began to have a conversation.
3. All BS aside, I HATE one/two/three lined posts. Don't be a lazy git, I know you have at least one good paragraph in you. (6+ lines, yes I said 6+).
4. Keep the cursing to a minimum. Everyone uses bad language every now and again but there are more creative ways to express yourself.
5. Use chat speak and you're gone. I couldn't be more serious. This is a serious Role Play with serious material and seeing someone say things like thx, luv and typing l33t (<-- honestly, is that even English? NO!) will do two things. One they will bring down the quality of the post, taking the person out of their writing and two, it will piss me off!! <-- try to avoid this, I am the mean one.
6. Treat others the way you want to be treated and don't dish out what you cant handle.
7. Use spell check, it's your friend damnit!But if you don't have a program with spell check, try to do your best or use this site

8. Your first post should be your application. Almost anyone can join, and applications will be accepted ASAP, but please wait for your application to be approved before you start Role Playing.
9. Oh yes, and the last rule. No Out of Character fighting! If you have a serious problem let an admin know ok? We are really here to help......most of the time.
10. Try to keep anything way to intense for young eyes in your head ok? There are tasteful ways to actually romance RP. (PM me if you have questions)

Appearance: Tall, lanky, and with pointed ears, prosthetic or real, not known yet. Her hair a dark red, and tied back in a bun on the back of her head. Bright green eyes, and pale skin show her to be of Irish heritage. Usually wears tank tops, jeans, and sandals. She is skilled in Jujutsu, and with several firearms.
She doesn't wear much make-up. She isn't looking for a relationship, but might find one. Usually carries a leather pack with random stuff in it. Possibly holding glass bottles. Usually holds books and a black laptop.

Personality: Sarcastic, sadistic, and sometimes just plain strange. She has a mean streak, a short temper, and likes to argue. Having no siblings, she's a bit bratty at times, but otherwise, she's a great leader. Has a great imagination, is creative, and seems to be a bit eccentric.
Having her mothers love to argue, and her fathers short temper, you can't easily tell if she's angry or just raving. She came to the place to take a break from her business life. She isn't married and doesn't want to be. She doesn't get embarrassed easily, and is strong-willed. She's clever, yet sometimes lacks common sense.

Sample RP:
A woman, knowing she'd arrive to the Chateau in maybe an hour, settled down in her chair like a contented cat. Falling into a deep sleep, she awoke to the sound of the chopper landing. She looked out the window, and the door opened. A man in a suit had opened the door. She stepped out, stretching her long limbs. Her eyes were half-closed and had bags under them.
Toting a large suitcase, she entered the Arcane. She pulled out a slip of paper, showing she had been given permission to be in the island. She rang the bell for service. Waiting for the bellhop, she examined her nails. When the bell hop arrived, she realized he was the same one who opened her helicopter door. He grabbed her bag silently and started walking to a room.
She ran behind him, asking. 'Where are you taking my things?" He stopped in front of a door numbered 213. Pulling out a key, he handed it to the woman. Leaving the suitcase, he disappeared as fast as he arrived. She put the key into the door and opened it. She marveled at the speldor of the room. She wheeled the case to the side of her bed and lay on the silk covered bed.

Jacobies: This is one of the most popular bars on the island. It is located on the eastern shore, elevated above the harsh ocean, it is half on land and half over water. You can get anything to dirnk you can pissibly think of here, but as always, drink with responsibility. Some of the most popular drinks include: Holy Water, Mind Eraser, Killer Kool-Aid, Funkey Monkey.
The 7th Sign: The 7th Sign is a casual resturant located near the main harbor of the island. It is a popular spot where people stop before they even make their way to the rooms of The Arcane. With 14 ounce steaks, soups, salads and pastas, this is the perfect eatery for anyone with a few minutes to spare.
Training Grounds: Surrounded by lucious thick grass, covered by men and women, is a solitary dojo where the islands inhab itants can go to practice their skill in private. There is always someone waiting to practice their talents, so why not have a little one on one combat, or for a little more fun, take on five people at once.
