Maes Was a great man. He Served the military for several years, working on and off everyday, doing odd jobs every now and then. He found a true friend amongst all, Roy mustang. He motivated Mustang by urging him on about becoming Fuhrer, Which was Mustang's goal in the military. Maes Hughes, he had a beloved family at home. A wife, Gracia and a daughter, Elysia. Both of whom will miss him terribly. Hughes was especially a great friend of the Elrics, Edward and Alphonse Elric. He'd Annoyingly shove pictures of his Daughter in the faces of others, but it good sense he meant no harm.
Maes' Last words were:
"I hope you'll forgive me, but I have a wife and kid waiting for me back home."
Maes Hughes Died Episode 25, at the age of 36.
He will be within our hearts and never forgotten.
Rest In Peace Maes Hughes. crying crying crying

i watch the episodes over and over, and every time i see episode 25.. i end up crying. crying
so in The Honor of Maes Hughes, i have made his daughter Elysia Hughes as an Avitar. 3nodding

I agree, I howled to Maes' funeral. Even Roy cried a little. I felt so sorry for Elysia, I lost my dad recently too.

OMG I cried a lot when that ep was on tv...But I feel a lot better and happy when I see that Maes look a like in my neighbourhood. xD Or other guys that look exactly and dress like him O= *crysnif*
