The wind blew gently through the leaves, making them rustle and dance in the light breeze. A brown creature trotted through the expansive garden, prancing around bushes, weaving through trees. Pale eyes flicked back and forth incessantly to every growing plant and flower, a grin on his face. How wonderful! Spring and Summer definitely had more followers than Winter and Autumn today, that was certain.
He froze in mid-step as his pale eyes rested upon a large bush filled with lush, bright red berries. Magnificent! He thought to himself, prancing about the bush in a circle before stopping in front of a rather large batch of the tiny berries. Where to start? Hmm... Better see if they're good first, he decided.
With that, he reached out and carefully plucked a single berry. He chewed it slowly, studying and savoring the taste before swallowing, and grinned at the bush. He plucked a couple more, eating them a bit faster than he had the first. After another prance around the bush while murmuring a thank you to whichever God reigned over the berries, he plucked a few more.

large bright eyes blinked curiously at the predicament in front of him... flapping the useless white feathered appendages poking out of his dark shoulder Jazzen stared up at the berries, just barely out of reach for his tiny lips to grasp. frustrated by this inconvenience, the young malu moved off to try and find a solution. it didn't take very long for him to find a good sized stone that he would be able to stand on. it was very heavy for the baby, but he was not about to give up, with much grunting and struggling he moved the rock forward back towards the bush he had found. pausing only to find that another Malu had found the bush as well... this one bigger, and with USEFUL wings. feeling that it was slightly unfair Jazzen put his paws clumsily on the rock frowning at the other Malu "yo" he squeaked in his baby voice.

Anthony fluttered his small wings in joy, his large ears perked, pale eyes shut as he enjoyed the berries. Even a small rustle to his left couldn't distract him from his snack, until he heard the small voice.
His eyes snapped open and he turned to find the source of the sound. It wasn't bigger than he was, it was -- smaller? He peered down at the small infant, then offered the little creature a grin, showing berry-stained teeth and lips. "'Ey there!" He said, small fluffy tail wagging a bit. "Whaddya doin' 'ere? Did you want some too?" He asked, and before waiting for the younger creature to respond, he leaned back onto his haunches, reaching up to the bush with his front paws. He found a few good branches, and pushed them down to ground-level with his brown paws so that the infant could reach them, too. From the looks of the rock he had pushed over, he had been meaning to get at the berries, too. "My name's Anthony, but you can call me Tony. What's your name?"
