Ilori ran through the jungle, though he had tried to be a lot quieter lately. He was worried about scared, or making other lions angry, as he had noticed that he had a tendancy of doing. Still, that didn't slow the cub down. He still trotted through, and he was still as cheerful as ever.
So far, he liked the jungle, even though he knew his family wouldn't be staying long. They never really did, which strangely enough, used to suit him fine... but he was starting to wish that he had a more permanent friend. He always seemed to be leaving everyone behind.
Mind, he was still cheerful, because he loved traveling about as much as he loved other lions. He would go on until he was old enough to make the choice between them. So he was content to trample on through the jungle.

Majani woke with a start, looking around almost paniced. Halili was still cuddled up to him, so what could be wrong? Twigs were snapping leaves were rustling. All more than usual. This deep in the jungle was usualy quiet and he decided it would be best to check it out.
The large lion moved silently throught he dense trees, watching his step and keeping from breaking to many twigs. Living in the jungle for so long did have it's advanteges. He wondered if being able to stalk in thr jungle would ever help him if he decided to move out. WHich was not very likely to happen.
He caught the sent of something new. And followed it. Eyes intently fixed upon what was right infront of him, trying to spot the little intuder. Afterall, it wasn't safe to wander around the jungle. It wasn't as hard for him to remember where he was going but someone NEW? He might have to escort him to a safer place.

"WEE!" Ilori had been quiet, vocally anyway, up until that point, but then he jumped from a falle log onto a vine and swung up and around onto a tree. Where he sat and looked down, "Wow... this is high up..." sitting up there, he could see everything.
Including the rather large lion watching him.
"Oh..." The little lion blinked a few times before he smiled brightly, "Hey mister! I'm sorry, did I wake you up? I do that alot! Sorry!" He called down, not seeming to realize that he might very well wake up the whole jungle since he was being so loud.
Then he remembered his promises to be quiet, and went silent, but he still smiled, "Really sorry."

Majani found the little trouble maker just as in managed to find it's way into a tree. He looked up and his nose twitched. "A CUB?!" His eyes widened and his voice sounded mildly paniced. What was he going to do? There hadn't been a cub by itself since him and Halili. And even then they weren't alone! Majani put his paw on the tree and dememnded the cub jump on his head and get down.
"Get down or I'll go up there and eat you!" His grumpyness was coming out. MOst lions and leopards in the jungle were sleeping right now. Since it was difficult to tell what time it was. Night blended into days so easily. And it was always the same shade of dark green.
"Yes. You DID wake me up. It's to bad my girl isn't with me. She wouldn't let me hurt a flea." He smiled a big toothy grin which wasn't to welcoming. "Now get down here or I really WILL eat you!"

Ilori looked down and blinked a few times, his smile vanishing for a moment as he looked positively puzzled. But it wasn't in Ilori's nature to let much of anything bum him out.
"Mister, doesn't that make you a cannibal?" Ilori asked, his silly grin returning semi-instantly, "I don't think you're going to eat me. You look too friendly for that. Why don't you come up here? You can see the stars through the trees!" To him, that seemed a lot more fun than hanging out down there.
He had been exploring the forest floors for days. The trees were much more appealing to him.
