READ THE FREAKING POST, DAMN IT. Half the people so far haven't. I rather thought this RP was better than a Level 1 - Beginner type, but obviously not, and we'll deal with that. Since this is on the second page of the beginners' forum, I will understand if no one wants to take the time to get here, in which case, I may or may not start another board. ~STORY:::
This is a Medieval RP about a war between vampires and werewolves, two ancient races which hate one another equally...until a group bands together determined to halt the war.
~RACES:::
Vampires: I would say this is self-explanatory, but I do have a few preferences about the vampiric race. Yes, they have fangs, but said fangs are only about an inch long. They don't go down to your torso, got it? And they aren't bloodthirsty beasts. They need blood only once in a while. They don't breathe and they don't eat or drink. They are, in all senses of the word, undead. But, strangely enough, they still feel emotions, something that has confused them for all of time.
Werewolves: Okay, I consider werewolves to have three forms: their human form, their wolf form, and their werewolf form. To explain...the human form is obviously self-explanatory. They're human. Go figure. The wolf form is also self-explanatory. They're lupine. Go figure. The werewolf form is a mix of both, a hulking, powerful beast of rippling muscle and fur and fangs. They are ALIVE, not undead.
~RULES:::
1. This is a Romance/Action RP. Romance is accepted among the group trying to stop the war, but NO CYBERING. Action is also accepted and encouraged, but you cannot kill another person's character without their permission. The anti-war group is against killing anyway.
2. I am God here. You...no...godmod. Hear me? No godmodding for joo. I'm God, I can smite you from where I watch on my cloud and ban you from this RP if you break my rules.
3. Literacy. I...WANT...LITERACY. Literacy literacy literacy. You notice I didn't say, "I want semi-literacy" or "I want chatspeak". Neither are accepted. I want you to be freaking literate.
4. If you read the rules, post "reader" at the bottom of your profile post.
5. No one-liners. Be descriptive. Very descriptive.
6. I WANT SPEECH IN "QUOTES". And I want out-of-character comments in ooc. I.e. ((ooc: You aren't being literate. Get the hell off my board.))
7. I changed my mind. If you read the rules post "read and love it" at the bottom of your profile post.
8. Don't post and leave. It pisses me off.

I have decided that anyone other than these five people ARE NOT A PART OF THE ROLEPLAY. Due to the turns in the storyline, new roleplayers are unacceptable and cannot be integrated into the roleplay. I apologize if this worries anyone, but...get over it. Start your own roleplay.

Thomas, around these parts known as Sting, sat in the local pub. He was drinking his second Howling Dog (a strong beer). Next to him, on the floor, was his heavy-looking old, brown bag. He glanced at it from time to time.
It had been two days since Sting had acquired it from an old man in another town. The old man had told him to take it away and get rid of it. But, alas, Sting was careless, and he had kept it for himself.
Sting drank up his beer and stood up. He stood for a second before bellowing, "WHY DID YOU NOT WARN ME?".

Jake walked to a park nearby, with a piece of paper, reading it, and looking for a place to sit. Jake reads it many times over and over, there is something he doesn't understand on the paper, but he can't figure it out, though he keeps reading it and sits down on a bench.

Hex sighed heavily and bared her fangs. The park nearby was full of vampires, so she headed there, wishing that segregation wasn't an issue.

Kyra bounced home after once again beating her old brother and his friends at the archery competition.
She knew she was the best.
Even so, her nerves were on edge for some strange reason.
Maybe it was vampires.
Everyone was always telling her to "look out for vampires" like she was some little kid, who needed watching after.
She was better at all things athletic then her brother and could beat him at anything, anytime.
He would never have admitted it to his friends, but at home, Kyra knew he cried in his sleep about vampires coming to get him. She laughed out loud thinking about it.
Vampires barely seemed scary to her. They just seemed stupid, continuing this war after so long. Of course, that was what they were told in school. "All vampires are dumb, bloodsucking, vicious beasts."
Kyra's own research had brought up something different. Vampires were as smart, and about as bloodthirsty as werewolves, which was to say very, and not at all. She didn't think vampires were a serious threat, but everyone else around her freaked if you even brought up the V-word.
She sighed thinking about it.
People were so prejudiced.
Why couldn't they go to school with, work with, and live with vampires.
Maybe then, she would get some competition athletically.
