 JOURNAL HEADQUARTERS -----------------------------------------
Notions are journal-optional pets. You are not obligated to roleplay with them if you don't wish to. If you DO wish to sign up for a journal, however, bear in mind that you are making a committment that we will expect you to fulfill. You may be asking yourself, "What's in it for me to sign up for a journal? Why would I want to commit myself to so much work for a pet that doesn't even use unique lineart unless it manages to get ahold of a Fountain Of Knowledge Draught?" Well, here are a few. Notions upgraded to Journal Status will be allowed to: Own and battle Bakus Be allowed to take part in journal-exclusive plot points Be subject to recieving random events such as accessories for your notionTake part in "the prinny game" Be entered into a monthly drawing exclusive to RPers for a Fountain Of Knowledge Draught
Basically what we're doing here is creating a universe within a universe. By making the committment to roleplay and keep a journal, you also entitle yourself to priveleges. Interested? Read on to find out more!

Journal How-to So you're ready to start a journal are you? Great! but hold on there, stud. it's not quite that easy. See, the journal opens up the doors to the baku/prinny events, not to mention it could help you obtain a draught of your own.
"But Oni, how do I do that??" You may ask. Well I'll tell you!
Because we only want those that are really serious that they want a journal to apply for them, we have limited the number of applicants a week. That limited number being three. Why so little? This is so that others can see how it goes before diving head first into something they're not ready for.
It is also because of this, that the journals a bit pricey. They cost 5k a pop. Why so much, you ask? This covers battle charges and future brainstorming expense.
We would like you to post at least once or more per week. The content of your journals is up to you as long as it follows the Gaia TOS and rating level. So no cybering. Take that elsewhere if you don't mind. The quantity and some of the quality of your posts will increase your chances at being in the drawing for the draughts. That means, if you think that posting tons of 'today we ate sammiches!' posts is going to get you in the drawing, try again. If it looks like you've put SOME effort in, then it's all good.
If you plan on leaving or something comes up that will stop you from updating as you should. PLEASE tell us. Not telling us will result in the loss of your current Baku/Prinny/Human and your Notion returning to regular status.
Getting a journal means you understand the responsibility, can handle it and are willing to pay the price for messing up. When you're ready to start a journal, either contact me or Karma and say "may I have a journal, please" along with the proper trade.
Now, Some of you will be wanting to pay with items. Please.. PLEASE PLEASE make sure the items you are offering are worth 5k minimum, highest, or mid gen at the least. If you cannot pay us up front, we will not make your journal until we recieve payment.
I know that you are all happy and giggly about getting to do a journal and what not but please don't think because we allow journals that you can just start your own journal. It has to be made through me or Karma_K. Noone else. If you do make a journal here, it will be deleted.

RULES Brought to you by the squeezed essence of Noobs
1. No posting in another user's journal without permission -- check to see who a particular notion owner has allowed to post in their journal. Some welcome all, some welcome none. It is up to them whether they want you leaving messages and roleplaying there or not.
2. No god-modding -- the fights are half-based on RP, but they are also based on a dice randomizer. If you lose, you lose. You cannot make your baku go up to Super Saiyan 900 or whatever the hell and suddenly defeat its opponant at the last second. If you do this, the fight will automatically end and your opponant will be declared the winner whether they were winning or not.
3. No inappropriate Roleplay -- you're allowed to curse in moderation. By moderation, we mean, try to limit your curses to maybe one or two a paragraph...you don't need to type like a Tourets' monkey. Likewise, this means no graphic unfing. You can hint at it and joke about it all you want, but if we come to your journal to find a Notion Harlequinn Novel being written, expect to find yourself in trouble.
4. You must post at least once a week -- If you've paid for a notion journal, you've paid for the responsibility that comes with it. Think hard before doing this...if you abandon RP pets frequently or can't be online very much, a journal notion is not for you. Once a week isn't too much to ask.
5. If you're leaving for an extended period, tell us -- We don't bite. Much. Really. If you have to be gone awhile, just let us know via a post in your journal or PM and everything will be hunky-dory. If you have to be gone awhile and you don't let us know, we may think you've abandoned your journal and notion. And as I'm sure you'll agree, that can't be good.
6. Don't Be A Pain In The a** -- this should go without saying and is a blanket statement. Don't spam journals, don't come into RP sessions just to fight, don't get abusive toward other people for refusing to battle you for prinnies, just generally don't do anything that would piss us off.
7. Don't harrass the staff -- If you need something in your journal updated, give us time. We're only human. If you think we may have forgotten you (ie -- a week goes by, you know we're not away from Gaia, and no update has happened) THEN go ahead and drop one of us a PM.
