I know how to get the golden watering can, but I've heard different things. I've heard it takes 14 days of a perfect town, and I've heard it takes 16 days. Can anyone of experience tell me how long it really is?
Tomorrow will be 14 days, so I guess I'll find out, but whatever.

If you've been able to keep your town perfect for 2 weeks it won't take much effort for another 2 days. blaugh
I've kept my town perfect for months! =O Excluding that one day when I decided to move all the flowers to different places. xD
I divided my town into 4 "areas" each having one kind of flower. Exception are the red rose road on the far left of my town and the white pansy lane on the far right.
Yeah. I'm crazy like that. xD

Im trying to get one whenever I water my plants I save the game and forward to the next day and so on but Nothing D=

I seem to just put flowers where ever there's space to put them.
Well, for my watering cans, it was sixteen, ehh.

I made a folwer garden yesterday with vertical rows of roses and pansys and all.I water them everyday =D but so far no luck with the dang water can D:<

Ah, see..
Then you're not at 'perfect' status and you have to--depending on what she says next about the environment--add more trees, flowers, and/or remove weeds, trees or items.
I could give you the in-depth explanation as to how to 'perfect' a town.. but I'm lax at the moment and sure someone else would gladly tell you.

If you have too many trees it also is bad.
Ask Phyllis at night, she'll tell you exactly what's wrong in her comments.
