Yes, fangirls, today I was posting on a Saiyuki thread when I witnessed this tragedy. The Saiyuki fanbase is becoming like the Inu Yasha fanbase, we have to take measures to prevent this.
This tragedy Now, maybe you think I'm overreacting, but what happens when no intelligent fans will watch Saiyuki because of these.....Fantards.
Not to mention, they claim to have "kidnapped" my avie.

Oh gods! That is so WRONG! I admit I was like that at the beginning of my fangirlness (only a little, and I was 12.) This is so tragic. Another example is Yu Yu Hakusho, (*looks around to see if any fangirls are around.* coughKuramacough.)

That was such a joke. I almost feel bad for them. XD

I still say the Goku fangirls are far and away the worst of the lot.

This is why many anime fans have to hide their interest from people. >.< I was gonna say something about the one little kid there, but she's only 2 years younger than me o_O Reminds me of this one girl who was at my school's anime club (a.k.a. molestingfangirl/boysubdemons) can never shut up when we would watch stuff, she'd always start squealing or randomly talking to herself or the screen. Fortunately, she graduates this year.....>.> Did I mention her imaginary bf (I forget his name, begins with a T) who looks and acts like every bishie there ever was? We have very interesting seniors. ninja

"Fantards"

I like it.

// *poke, poke* By the way Sanzolicious, you know I told you months ago to come to the Guild when we bonded over Chin Iisou in a random thread and you denied me! I see how it is, I wasn't sexy enough for you! It's always Soreyle, Soreyle, Soreyle! = P //

But anyway... yes. It's the Fankids who give anime fans a bad sterotype. Personally witnessed travisty: When I went to Anime Boston last year, I was dressed as Sanzo. (And a damn good one, too. whee ) This group of girls (it was weird being harrased by girls, but they aren't as creepy as the guys who hug you, and hug you... and hug you...) skittered up to me and my sister (Homura) and they were, like, twittering. I'm not sure what language it was, but their voices were funny high and there was a lot of giggling involved. The obvious leader of the pack turned to me and said (and I quote) "Omigod! You're my hero! Can I hug you?!" I blinked a few times and said yes. She did. And then they returned to their native language and skittered away again.

All I was left wondering was... Am I her hero for cosplaying Sanzo, or is Sanzo her hero?

And that was a really sad thought.

Everyone loves me. It's a curse! xP
Actually, I think it's just HnPP that they all love. sweatdrop

And come, I fawned over you and your sis just as much, if not more than the fantards. I totally wanted to get in your priestly robes. surprised whee

I mean, really. Look!

Remember that girl that came up to me, all like "OMG, Dr. Nii! Can I have a hug?" heart That made me feel speshul.

And, this doesn't pertain to Saiyuki... but it just as easily could, I suppose. At Otakon, there was a screening for Gravitation... I swear, all Shuichi and Yuki had to do was give eachother moony eyes and the fangirls would go nuts. And that the end of that one ep., where they start to do it or whatever... Holy s**t mans, I thought the apocalypse broke out. Seriously. gonk

*fawns* okay, come on now, those costumes ARE bitchin. Its what my Hakkai costume will never be. v.v But my Holiday Tenpou! That one, it won't burn down, fall over and sink in the swamp like my hakkai attempt!

I'm in the middle...

I didn't have time to get a wig. v.v and I used my glasses cause I wanted to see at the party. I'm actually happy with it considering I spent all of the night before Friday before Halloween on it, and some time saturday morning. (I wore it to school, and suprise suprise, no one knew who I was. It was before I started my Saiyuki education program.) Luckily manga book 4 had come out, so I took that along and when asked who the hell I was I pointed to the cover, and then went on my merry way.

Omg, such tragedy indeed.

*claws eyes out* I really don't need to be reminded that there are fantards out there... *sighs*

*Scary thought....
In fact i live with one. (fangirl)
She hasnt even seen past the frist 3 DVD and she claims Hakkai as her one true love...*rolls eyes at her fanfiction
Hakkai, would be nice to her, but he would never hook up with her in real life.

I personally have a thing for Sanzo, but that is as far as it would ever go. sweatdrop Our personalities just dont mix.

Nice Cosplay. good job on the coustumes

Instead of repeating my own thread, I must update here. The fangirl problem has gotten worse. Man, where's Homura and company when you need them? Even that worthless blue-haired loser Souto would be useful right now. We need fantard extermination. Seriously, check some of the threads I've been flaming...er...visiting...Recently.

I hate it when people step over the line between "oooh hot" and *immitating the Finding Nemo seagulls* mine mine mine mine mine mine mine mine.... you get the picture. Someone needs to teach these people decent boundaries.

I admit...I get pretty bad when I have sugar (I mean, yesterday I went completely nuts over a poll in one of these forums and I came very close to glomping a random dude at a convention) but I don't think that I ever got so bad that I was fiercely trying to defend that Hakyru was a girl... sweatdrop You would think that if so many ppl were disagreeing they might think, "hey...maybe I'm wrong..." right?
Plus, if you're the fangirl, wouldn't you be expected to defend Kougaiji, not expect him to defend YOU...ugh...as if he would defend her drooling a** even if he was real and knew who she was...seems like the type that would draw traps and danger to herself anyway...
Wow...seriously considering stopping even crushing on Saiyuki bishies after reading that...(note to self...never eat sugar again...if I end up like that I might just have to really kill myself...)
