What's that one move you just can NOT do, no matter how hard you try or how often you practice? Everyone's got one. Mine is a la seconde (sp?) turns... But I've been getting slightly better at them since we've been doing them practically every day this week -.-
Anyway, just wondering what things you guys are having the most trouble with.

I don't think I can do beats, if that's what they're called. I've only been in ballet for a while, so there are a LOT of things I can't do yet. XD

For me, it's fuettes en pointe, of course I only started last fall so my ankles aren't strong enough. The other thing I can't do is lame ducks(I know it's a weird name but that's what they're called, at least where I dance that's what they call them) en pointe to the left, to the right they're mediocre at best but to the left I have to stop and think about it and then bumble through, perhaps I should practice them more.

*scratches head* I'm not focused on ballet anymore (I'm more of a jazz/lyrical/modern dancer now), but I absolutely cannot do cabrioles, because this one time I tried and landed on the top of my foot, and had a bruise the size of a tennis ball for 2 weeks. I couldn't point my foot without it hurting...so now I have this inane fear of cabrioles. sweatdrop

The love for a horse is just as complicated as the love for another human being, if you never love a horse, you'll never understand. Pirouettes I absolutely suck at them though I am slowly and I mean SLOWLY getting better at them
We dance for laughter, we dance for tears, we dance for madness, we dance for fears, we dance for hopes, we dance for screams, we are the dancers, we create the dreams!

I can't do beats that well. I'm getting better, only by practicing them in the pool. Still, I'm kind of scared because we didn't practice them in my last studio and in the studio that I'm going to is going to be prestigious and I don't want to embarress myself doing entrechats. redface

Grand jete alternate(don't really know how to spell confused ) I can't really do extremely quicksteps. But I really love adage. Perhaps it's slower and I can control it. The Grand jete alternate really difficult for me! Help!
