Tugging softly at Naida's sleeve, Gabriel motioned with his head for her to follow as he started heading towards a more empty area near the rides. The stalls were getting crowded fast, as hunger begun to take over people's attention and he hated being in a crowd. He moved a few steps and looked back at her to be sure that she was coming too. He could see her more clearly now, and noticed that she did look quite pretty, especially the hair. But he made no comment of it, instead waiting for her to come.

She followed slowly. The shoes being cork instead of wood helped a bit, but not much. She still had to shuffle like a proper Japanese lady instead of normal walking. So by the time she caught up, she was looking more frustrated than anything else. "Seriously though... that girl started going on about ... I'm not even sure. And you were like a knight in shining armor!"
Her kimono was green like her eyes, with blue orchids patterned down the front and back folds, as well as the pocket-sleeves. Her long copper hung loose voluminously in the humidity. Despite the attire, it was hard to not see the air of mischief she seemed to carry with her. And she obviously seemed to believe that talking a lot was a crime someone could fall victim to.

Suppressing a chuckle at seeing her having to shuffle, Gabriel looked around them until he was sure no trace of it was visible on his face. At the same time he slowed down his pace to match hers. 'This was going to take awhile' he thought.
"Come on now," he said, looking at her now "I only bumped into you. That isn't the definition of a knight, or even very honorable." Then it occurred to him that she could just trying to work her way up to something. But it could be just paranoia.
"And you can't really blame the girl for wanting to talk. Otherwise we'd be forcing to shut up all over the place." Gabriel looked around, at the confusion around them. "Not that it would be a bad idea. Just too much work." He added

"Okay. Fine. So you're an absolute cad. Have it your way. Why am I following you then?" She rolled her eyes in a masterful sort of a way that only an eleven year old could.

Gabriel grinned. "Because you're hoping the other girl will leave you alone, while I'm around probably." he said, wondering if he should've felt insulted at the unknown word. What was a cad? he thought.
"And also because I'm moving way from the loud, noisy and oh so talkative crowd, towards that giant ferris wheel and the haunted house." He added. "Thought you'd like it better there, it looks kinda empty compared to the rest."
He looked her up and down again, observing the whole outfit, before directing his gaze at her emerald eyes. "Why are you wearing that?" asked Gabriel amused.

"Not going to the haunted house!" She almost screamed, but tried to remain calm enough to command. "And I'm wearing this because my mother is insane and very pregnant. You don't mess with people like that."

He groaned. Loudly at that. He knew what was putting up with a pregnant mother. And then he looked at the Naida. Apparently, the crazy ran in the family.
"Well, at least it looks good on you. Even if you're not Japanese." Gabriel said quietly. Suddenly he moved ahead, turned around and leaned forward towards her. "And why not the haunted house? Don't tell me you're scaaared" He said teasingly and with a smirk on his face.

"I prefer to have my brave moments at other times. I kill all the spiders, wasps, and snakes my sister screams at. And that sort of thing. But I don't believe that I should go looking for things that will naturally scare me in hopes of fading my natural levels of fear. I want to be afraid of dementors when I face them. I don't want to have to face fake ones to prove my courage." Yes. She was scared. And while not afraid to admit that, why show weakness.

He inched a bit closer to her. "Well if you know they're all fake, and illusions, and stuff... Than they can't really scare you now can they? Then you won't have to prove anything." Said Gabriel, very matter of the fact. "Plus, I dare you to go to the haunted house with me." He added, he wasn't really interested in going there anymore. Everything was fake, he was sure. He was having more fun trying to get Naida to go.
"I double dare you even." He added again for good measure. Still grinning at her.

"I don't really have to play childish games with you like that." She was one of those very spoil-sport matter-of-fact kinds of people. "I'd much rather play childish games like goldfish catching, or ... something." Anything. Monopoly would work too. She wasn't going in the haunted house. And she was very stubborn like that.

"Goldfish catching?! Are you serious?" He said with incredulity stamped on his face. "And here I was thinking you were one who'd like a challenge." He straightened up again and sighed.
"Well, how about this. We go goldfish, or chocolate fish, catching. And then we go to the haunted house. Or at the very least the air coaster." Maybe that way she'd agree to go. "What do you think?" He asked again. "Then if anything jumps up at you, you can throw the fish back at it."

"How's about we do the coaster first? I love roller coasters!" She was being all weird and girly like Kiandra would normally be. What was wrong with her? Naida was getting confused with herself. Skip fishing? Was she mental?

"It's an improvement." He said honestly. "Let's go then, I think it's over there somewhere..." He said, when the cars started lifting again and zooming all over the place. "Yeah, definitely there! Looks like fun."
He took her hand and was about to start pulling her after him, when he remembered at the last moment she couldn't walk fast. Which was at about the same moment he realized he was holding her hand. He gave a hurried, but gentle tug, in the direction they had to go and released her hand. "Come on, before everyone stops eating and move back here" He avoided looking at her and kept following the cars in the air with his gaze.

"Why don't you try walking in shoes?" She growled at him, seemingly not noticing the whole event with the hand. "Plus... as popular as the chocolate pond is, I doubt people are going to stop even when they aren't hungry anymore." The line for the roller coasted did already look a little daunting though. She tried to shuffle faster and not fall on her face, which took a certain amount of effort. Almost as much effort as it took to not stop at the different stands and stalls. How could someone just walk by these? There were so many interesting things to look at. She wanted to play with the glass animals that were putting on a circus, and wonder at how they got those wind chimes to play whole symphonic orchestra pieces. Of course, she also really couldn't wait to see the whole event from the air...

"I would, except that I'm not that crazy" He stated. "I'm sorry though, don't want you to fall over or something." He moved beside her again, matching the slow pace. He didn't mind though. As they walked he also noted the stands around, there was some really cool stuff going in a few of them. It was then that Gabriel noticed Naida trying to look at all the stands at the same time.
"We can stop if you want to check out any of these. The coaster's still going to be there for a long time, and the concerts won't be starting that soon either." He looked at her gently, and then past her at a prize shooting stand.
