I had just assume that sex was compleatly out of the question while she was still human. I still think that would kill her, though his restraint has gotten much better. I dont think it would be to fun for him, worryed about killing her the whole time.
Still he only said that he was going to try.

I was really going to be very disappointed in Stephenie meyer if she had her have sex with edward before they were married but then again that is just me.

Katsuogaara Sure seemed like he wanted it in the meadow at the end. i think that was just edward treing to get bella to agree to the wedding. you know revearse phycolgy, jacob was right about one thing atleast, edward can be very munipulative. whee

I would be really dissapointed in Stephanie Meyer if she went the route of the miracle hybrid human-vampire child after they try... other than that I'm like yay them! just i really hope Meyer doesn't fall into the "miracle baby" story line...

anyone feel awkward about it? one half of me finds it all hard to imagine. the other half is excited about it. don't say that it's a little weird. bella had to be weird from the beginning cause she does say that kissing edward is like kissing a statue of Michaelangelo's David.

As much as I want them to do it, it would probably kill Bella. I mean hello, he's as hard as a rock (...*snicker*) and super-strong. Excuse my vulgarity, but I imagine having sex with a rock would be VERY painful, in many ways. Hell, he'd probably break her v****a, if not kill her completly. Not pleasant. Unless Bella's got a kink for that xd

Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but on page 455, Edward says,
"Technically, I can't ever sleep with you."

I dunno about it not being "fun" for him, since he seemed pretty damn enthusiastic at the end, in the meadow. >>;
@ Taru-chan: He was referring to the fact that he can't sleep. Yeah, I thought they couldn't either, at least while she was still human.

Hmm... I understand both of their POVs. Edward doesn't want to hurt Bella by doing it when she's human. Bella wants to, because it won't be the same if she's a vampire...and Edward did want her to go through things that humans do...as a human.
