Before you Post…
There are a few things that would be great if you did. Certain people want to find certain types of roleplays. For example, one might be looking for a Medieval Fantasy one, but have difficultly because nothing has been labelled.
Before posting your thread, please place the title of what you’re doing and the type of roleplay along if it is open to post or if you’re accepting profiles. Example:
Angelic Songs ~ Medieval Fantasy [Open & Accepting]
That way, people who have been accepted can post and those who are interested in it know that it is still accepting. Also, those looking for a medieval fantasy roleplay have found one. It is quite helpful for those who want to join only certain ones.
Unless there is a multitude of genres in your roleplay, example: modern, fantasy, high school, gangs, then please just choose one or two genres to place. Example:
Life or death ~ Gangs [Open]
Understand?

Roleplaying Tips
If you're having problems thinking of how to put five well-developed sentences into a post, here are some ideas:
Characters
If a character had randomly come out to save you, or talk to you, respond to them. Depending on how much the character asks you, you could end up coming up with five sentences in a matter of moments.
Setting
If the weather changes all of a sudden, or your character just likes starring up at the clouds, comment on that. Although don’t make it too random. The setting has to have some importance to the roleplay.
Thoughts
What does your character think? What does your character want to do but can’t? Write it down, let the audience know what’s going on inside their head, although the other characters won’t know.
Past
Does your character have a past that when an item is shown to them, or something happens, that their memories come flooding back into them? Perhaps it changes their shy, safe personality into doing something heroic and saves a girl from being hit by a car.

Novel Format
For writing in novel format, there are a few things every roleplayer (if they don’t know yet) should know.
When Roleplaying
~Use Italics for thoughts ~Underline books ~Bold important information or bold words a character emphasizes ~When a character thinks something, your character won’t know it ~Never leave the setting unless you’ve asked the thread creator and they said you can ~Follow the thread creator’s rules ~Don’t power play (control other characters that aren’t your own)
For Characters
~Never change your character’s past that makes them who they are ~Your character is not you, it is someone you created to play as ~Your character is not invincible, but they can seem invincible ~No Mary or Gary Sues
Character Intros
~Should be longer than normal posts ~Should include what they look like ~Should hint at how they act ~Does not need to include the past ~Should not revel all the information of the character to the audience ~Should include setting & follow setting
