YES. YES. YES!!!
I FINALLY caught one! After 2 months of trying!
How it looks nice in my museum. smile
Eh, time to catch a Tarantula and a Giant Beetle now.
Talking of which, has anyone got a picture/description of how the Giant Beetle looks like? I've never ever seen one.

Congratulations!
I remember saying this a while back, but the Giant Beetle is slightly larger and slightly darker than the Stag Beetle.

yeah...dont worry about the tarantula or scorpion...as long as u see it first you can sneak up and catch it...but if it see's u run the oppisite direction it will not catch you...eventually it will stop...proven fact by me!

Congrats on your catch! =D KL is right. It's a black beetle that's bigger than a stag. I believe it's horns look like this: Y. But I'm not sure. Good luck! <3

And I know the Giant Beetle comes at night...but specifically I wanna say from 11pm - 8am. But again, I'm not positive XD

I'm trying to remember if I've caught a few before Nook's closed.
'Cos I may have sold it.
Then again, animalxing.com has a few bugged pieces of data (no pun intended).
Well, the AC:WW Player's Guide says 19.00-04.00. But then again, there's bugs in that, too.
There's only one way to solve this...
I'm going to go catch one right now.. at 20.00. I'll let you know if I get one.

Looks like a stag beetle? Then I guess I probably already encountered some, mistook them for stag beetles and scared them off. DD:

Well, the slight differences in them are pretty distinct.
Oh and HF, about to pincer/horn, if you're thinking the dynastid beetle.. that's like a 'Y' and the giant beetle's, it's more so a 'V' now that I think of it.

Well, it's happened before that I mistook one of those golden little round beetles for something else and ended up scaring them instead. sad

Yeah exactly those two.
When my brother got a scarab beetle for me he was like "I'm not quite sure if this is a new thing or not.. better ask Erika." xD
