It had been a bit of time since Naraka had traveled into his old home, and surprisingly enough he had yet to meet Moto's parents. It didn't bother him much, since she didn't live with them and he was spending all his time in the den, but now that he his head was covered with a full mane and his body covered with soft scars, he was ready to face the lands that were his home.
Coming out into the sunlight, he looked around with a bit of a grimace, his body lean from lack of work though large from the blood it held. Turning, he padded slowly away Moto's den, a bit fearful of the watch that could be anywhere and unsure of how to act. Pausing a small bit from the entrance, he peered into the sands before tentativly calling out.
"...Moto?"

Motobi'ata looked about as she came to the entrance, looking up at the fully healed adult. "Yes, Usi?" She came out, smiling at the male. "I was inside, hiding in the dark corner." She chuckled lightly, and purred as she came over and rubbed up against his side. He was such a great friend, keeping her company all this time ... she looked up to him, questioning the male. "So, what do you want to do today, exactly?"
She was still rather confused at it all.

He smiled at the familiar name, the one he took on after he awakened. It seemed so long ago, how ajusted he was to it right now. When she brushed against his side, he smiled before rubbing his cheek against hers. In his mind as well, she was his one true friend in a land of silence.
"Maybe you could show me around, I'd love to see the lands as you do...and possibly meet the family you speak so fondly of..." His smile faded slightly at the word, family. Something he never had save for the female beside him. Maybe, in the near future, he would get the chance to have a family as well, and be there for them when all else was gone.
But for now, he was ready to get a real feel for the desert he was inhabiting.

((Thanks for inviting me to play with you guys =) ))
The older female was steaming, her own daughter had brought a rogue, probably someone not even of the blood! It boiled her to no end as she sauntered unconciously over the sands, seeking out any foreign scent that might waft over the arrid air of the desert. However she found none...infact an old, familiar scent touched her nostrils and her ears perked atop her head.
Where did she know that scent?
She quickly moved towards the scent, yellow eyes narrowing before she found her daughters den and blinked. Hearing another, unfamiliar voice, but familiar scent...what was this!?
"Moto?" She called.

"... Yes mother?" She lowered her ears, and peered out of the opening of the den with curiosity. Grinning, she padded out to walk over to her mother. She rubbed her fur against Mpeka's, as she then turned around towards the entrance to her den. "Is there any reason you've come here, mom?"
She knew her mom knew what was going on, and there had to be no other reason that her mother came to her den.

He stalled completely from his perch, confusion crossing his features as a more feminine voice echoed his own. The newly dubbed Usi found his heart racing a bit as a large form made an appearance as well as Moto padding over there. Lowering his head, he tried to blend into the sands as he watched the two greet each other, silently observing the new scene.
As soon as Moto finished her question, however, he found himself relaxing as he let out a soft breeze of a breath, before remembering the warning. Her father would be fine, but the mother was a mystery, and so he kept on guard, as much as a looming firekin-brute could.

As her daughter came to greet her she let a small, motherly smile come to her maw as she brushed her cheek against her offsprings and then cleared her throat. She then gave a slightly confused look.
"Well, I had come to see your new...friend..." The word friend was said with as much distaste the female could handle, before it seemed to vanish from her voice. "But it's strange...I come here following a scent that I find familiar...that I knew long ago."
Could her daughter have brought a long lost member of the pride? It was a long shot, but maybe, just maybe her daughter had been lucky?
The mother's eyes noticed the figure in her daughters den trying to become as small as it could and smirked slightly, before turning to her child, ears perked atop her head.
"Are you going to introduce me to your nervous friend?"

"Oh. Well, of course!" She smiled and then put her head into the opening. "Usi, why don't you come out? My mother wants to meet you!" She backed up from the entrance and awaited her friend to emerge from her den. Though, she was still scared of her mother's reaction, the way she sounded before. She folded her ears back, preparing herself ... ...
