The heart of the nation of Esben. Titanic buildings practically are within inches of each other, and traffic is in perfect, crowded lines. Business men are crammed into fast going crowds, and one could easily get swept away in them. Apartments, high class hotels, hospitals, and fancy restaurants are easily found here, if you can manage to see past the people. The one area not completely crowded is the government building, and even that has many security guards making their rounds around it.

Thomas walked into his office with a demeanor of slight boredom that betrayed his authoritive outfit. He was careful enough to follow all the regulations and rules, saluting the flag when he came within six steps, made sure to call out "At ease" before walking into his bustling office, but it was more out of routine than atentiveness.
"What's the plan of the day, Mister Rubias?"
"Sir, the plan of the day is to finish with the paperwork on the new central trade building. We have also heard word of a visitor from the Eastern Capitol."
Thomas sighed and took his seat and motioned for the monotony of the paperwork and his reading glasses. Still, he looked forward to what the ambassador had to say.

"Rubias."
"Right away sir." He said, opening mahogany wood doors to reveal the man from the eastern zone.
"Welcome to Asmund. I presume you are from the Thousand Rivers? I've been expecting you." He got up from his paperwork-laden desk and walked up to the ambassador with an extended hand.

He bowed low. "Yes, Milord. I am Master Vect's personal attendant." He stood, shaking the outstretched hand. "Lord Thomas, I have come to speak with you," he gestured towards the chair behind the desk. "Please my lord, there is no need to stand on my behalf."

"If you want to call me a formal name, call me president or commander. Also, I'm fully comfortable standing. You have permission to speak, and a block of my time to do so, so get to it." And he was right. He preferred to stand, if only out of tradition, and he preferred being called those names for the same reason.

"My apologies, sir." His tone became entirely businesslike, losing its amiable quality. "Lord Vect is organizing a tournament. Ordinarily such things would be kept within the country, but in the interest of promoting cooperation between the five nations, Thousand Rivers is extending an invitation to the other nations and of course any who wish to participate are more than welcome," He smiled. "And with all due respect Commander, we would like your reply as soon as possible, not to sound rude, but I am rather pressed for time to convey my message to the Western Zone as well."

"Right then. Rubias?"
"Yessir?"
"Do I have anything planned for this and next week?"
"You have an appointment with the Torgils mayor for negotiations over the mining fraction of the Thorvald Mountains. Other than that, you have nothing planned."
"Can you tell them to push the date back two days?"
"Aye sir!"
"Then yes, mister ambassador, I can go to the tournament."

He bowed low. "I thank you for your time, Commander. I shall return to Lord Vect with your favorable reply. Good day, Commander." He walked out of the room.
