Name : Eric Grayson
Gender : Male
Age : 16
Grade : Sixth Year
House : Hufflepuff

Ethnicity : Irish
Hair Color : Originally light brown, but is now dyed a deep blue.
Eye Color : Brown/Green

Pet : A young, long-eared female owl named Zephyr.
Wand : 14", willow with a Unicorn tail hair as a core.

Family :

Bruce:
The leader of the Grayson family, Bruce is of medium height and a slightly overweight man. His balding hair is chestnut in colour and gives him a constant air of just having woken up, and eyes are of the same colour of his hair. Humorous and at times sarcastic, Bruce always finds a way to bring a laugh out of someone. No matter how much it costs or for how long he has to tickle their feet with a nice, long feather.
An accomplished business man, Bruce spends of his time either at the stock market or negotiating deals. He always tried to give his children most of the free time he has, but his mobile phone constantly ringed, forcing him to out to take care of one problem or another against his will.

Julia:
Tall, blond, and green eyed, Eric's mother couldn't be described as anything short of beautiful. Always full of a life and gentle, she's the one most people go to when they're feeling down as she always manages to expose the bright - or less grim - side of every situation.
A once time marine biologist she used to go away on expeditions. Staying out for months at a time, and once for a full year. This made her go out of touch with her family and almost cost her her marriage. Because of that she gave up that live to stay at home looking after her daughter. But that did not diminish her love of animals, she now works at the National Marine Aquarium and writes articles for a wild life magazine.

Hannah:
Unlike Eric, his twin sister Hannah has long, blond and curly hair with honey-coloured eyes. She is beautiful like her mother Julia, and is in constant contact with her brother since she loves hearing news from the world he's now living in. She does feel a pang of jealousy for not being able to use magic like Eric does, but it has been diminishing along the years. Hannah has a strong artistical trait and studies in hopes of becoming an architect some day.

Description :
How does one describe Eric? Physically he is tall, almost six feet tall at that, and somewhat thin, though not excessively. His hair is short and curly, dyed a deep blue at the moment. His are mostly brown with speckles of green and he usually walks with his shoulders slumped. He isn't the most attractive person around, but then again, he isn't unattractive at all.

Psychologically, he likes to poke fun at most things and most people. He's calm, quiet, relaxed and never really gets into fights with anyone. If someone tries to ruffle his feathers he just ignores them and walks away. Most of the time. Like his parents, he usually tries to cheer up the people around him, and if needed, is ready to listen to them if they just need to unwind with someone.

He's the kind of person who would fit anywhere, maybe that's why he ended up in Hufflepuff.

On his free time, he can be seen zooming around on his broom, being quite a speed freak and a fan of broom racing, or by the lake reading or playing the guitar. During summer time though, he will ride his brother's old Harley - that he managed to convince a local wizard to bewitch so it was flyable - into far and uninhabited country, and speeds around through the air on it instead of his broom.

Eric recently broke up with his girlfriend Elayne Crawford, a Ravenclaw that he knew since their first year. They became closer until near the end of the second year they started dating. It lasted well until this summer when she finally broke up with him, claiming her feeling had changed. Eric stated he felt the same way but still cares for her. That's part of the reason why despite his cheery, and sometimes crazy, free-spirit attitude he still has a sort of sad look upon his eyes.

A bit about him :

Ever since a young age that Eric wanted to be a doctor, due to his late brother Daniel.
Daniel was his older brother, ten years older in fact. A motorcycle riding, band playing, larger than life kinda guy. He had long curly hair, was taller than what Eric is now. He often would get into arguments with their parents, especially dad because of the promises he kept making and breaking, and didn't talk much with their mother either.
The only ones to which he gave love to were his younger siblings, and it was he who took care of Eric and Hannah when their parents were away. Because of that, the twins became very attached to him, and thus were devastated when at age 10, Daniel was diagnosed a brain tumor.
News of it rippled through the family like a rock thrown at a calm lake. Julia broke off from the expedition she was in and came back straight home to care for her eldest, and Bruce was staying away from work more with each passing day.

As time wore off, Daniel was moved to the hospital, where their parents spent most of their time, unable to do anything but watch him dwindling away, while Eric and Hannah were looked after by one of their mother's cousin. Eventually, Daniel passed away during the month of march and the family changed.
Dad turned down more offers, while mom gave up the expeditions she usually took to spend as much time possible with her remaining children.

Eventually, a few months later, something happened that forced the family to change again. On the twins eleventh birthday in may, a small, red-headed woman showed up at the door bearing a letter from a place called Hogwarts. She claimed to be a witch, and that Eric himself was a wizard. After hearing her for the first time, Bruce simply shut the door in her face and refused to listen to such nonsense. But she kept coming again and again, until eventually they listened to what she had to say. And after two hours and her making Bruce's lead soldier collection parade around the living room floor, and then again on the walls, everyone believed her.

It was then that Eric started questioning her about everything magic could do. One thing let to another and he eventually asked if it could've healed Daniel. When he heard the answer, rage filled him and he stormed off, locking himself in his room.
It had been there all along, a way to save his brother. There were people who could treat him when the doctors failed, and had done nothing for him. After that he refused to have anything to do with magic, and wouldn't talk to the witch, or anyone else at all for that matter.

Eventually he started listening to his twin, and it was she who convinced him to go to Hogwarts. If other's didn't heal, he should learn how, and do it himself. He didn't like the idea at first, but it eventually gained hold of him and he agreed to meet the witch again, finally setting off to Hogwarts in hopes of becoming a healer.

A Moment By Himself :

"What was it you wanted to show me?" Asked Hannah, she was sitting behind Eric in his bike, arms clasped firmly around his waist and her chin was resting on his shoulder, breathing softly.

"I got Daniel's bike a bit pimped out." He said enthusiastically. He kept driving on to the empty field by the sea again. It was late afternoon and the sun was getting lower, making the clear sky take a fiery colour.

"What do you mean 'pimped out'? And what the hell happened to you to start saying pimped out?" She asked more surprised at the use of the word than at anything else.

"I was just kidding! What I meant it's that it has a few... Tricks installed now. Like this." He pressed a button in the handlebar, rendering the bike and the two passengers invisible, followed by another that send it flying in the air.

"Whoa, what the hell?! What did you do?" Asked an alarmed Hannah, clinging tighter to her brother. Her hair waving in the air like a golden trail behind her, catching the colours of the setting sun on it.

"I made it fly, he would've loved it. Just hang on now." Replied Eric, he felt her press even tighter against him and with that he sped up even more. The fields and houses below them seemed to zoom past as they went by. From time to time he'd turn the bike upside down or do a somersault as he headed towards the sea. Eventually he went over and straight down a cliff, leveling at the last moment. They were now skimming over the waves, salty water spraying them gently on the face. The surrounding areas were filled with even more cliffs so he was sure no one was around to see the strange ripple in the water. Behind him he heard Hannah laughing, and with a smile, turned up the speed as he went further out to sea.

Fine and dandy -- just as long as that enchanged bike stays away from the school grounds! *shakes fist menacingly*

Lovely RP and background.
Mrs. Redheaded woman had a nice and fun way of proving she was a witch, huh?

Aaaand... Silly Ravenclaws, breaking boys' hearts...
