And it does look a scotch better, I am getting some "can not find" errors but they resolve almost instantly.

Can't say I miss the old template very much. Navigation is close enough to the prior mapping so I'm not getting lost.
The new graphics are spiffy.
Let's just say I'm indifferent.

In terms of design, this new layout looks incredibly good. It feels cleaner, and the drop downs simplify navigation. The style is a welcome departure from the pastel feel of old (One I was never too sold upon).
It looks like it's the first step towards further customization, as well.
OH! And it uses the Yahoo User Interface classes, which are, from my experience, one of the most stable JavaScript UI Libraries around (And free to boot!). I don't know if the old layout used it, but I don't think it did, or else they would've taken advantage of it. This new layout does.

Some of the new navigation shortcuts are very nice, indeed. Not having to click though 5 links to get here is a very positive development.
The new logo is very understated and proper for this layout as well.
I'm sold.

The day, twilight and night graphics are nice. Knowing what the time in Gaia is has become a bit easier.
And the postion of the Gaia map isn't buried below off screen with my 12" laptop screen.
A clear winner.

We have similar tastes and I've been able to watch Agito thanks to HJU recently. It's either that or Imma Imajin and have made a contract with you.
