Lab-NET Hackers Vice Captain

Having finally concluded gathering the data for the hacker requested by Violetta, Fiach downloaded it to a new jump-drive before labeling it in his scrawly handwriting, "Aiko". Sitting down at the counter to patiently await the arrival of the hyperactive appearing Violetta, Fiach played quietly on the pennywhistle around his neck. It was a jaunty tune, a quiet jig, one that was just loud enough he couldn't really hear over his own thoughts and the sound of his music. As the jig moved faster, his eyes closed as he melded with his music, completely forgetting that a young lady was on her way to pick up her hacker soon.
((I'm terrible at starting RPs, sorry. sweatdrop

"I'm here~" Swinging the door open dramatically, Violetta threw her arms out as if she were making some grand, dramatic entrace to a high profile place. "Where's my little Aiko?"
Her head bobbed back and forth a few times, looking around as if she expected to see a hacker outside the computer, just sitting on the counter or the floor, waiting for her. After a moment she stopped and listned, taking notice to the music that was playing. The source of the melody was quickly located and Violetta gave a small curtesy before quickly closing the door and heading over towads the man. "Hello again, Mr. Fiach! I'm ready to see Aiko!"

Startled from his reverie, Fiach gave a slight blush before putting his penny whistle down. Clearing his throat to recover from his embarrassment, he thanks Violetta, "Thank you for remembering to close the door this time!" Nodding slightly at her request, he held the jump-drive he'd just finished placing Aiko onto aloft. "She is located on this drive. All you do is place it into the port on your computer, and she can have access to it from there. Once inside of your computer, if you have the internet, she has access to that -- and everyone's computers from there that doesn't have a decent firewall." Pausing for a moment to allow her to digest what he had told her, he placed the drive into his laptop and uploaded the egg of Aiko.
"For the moment, she is an egg, but in roughly a week she will become a child hacker. And then the work truly begins!"
Tilting his head slightly in a habit he'd picked up from his sister, Fiach asked, "Do you have any questions?"

Violetta nodded, and pulled out a small, flip notebook from the bag she was carrying. Next, she pulled out a purple pen, the body of the pen being covered with large, purple sequins, and a puff of feathers and sparkly wires stuck out of the top for decoration. Holding up the pad, she began to take notes on Fiach told her, just in case she forgot something.
"Ok, so she's an egg for a week... lives on USB thing... travels through the internet... Ok, I got that. Is there anything I have to do for her while she is an eggie? Does she need data to eat- she eats data, right? That's what you said before! Which reminds me, how exactly do I feed her that?" Violetta took a moment to drift off into Lala land, picturing herself grocery shopping, pushing a larg cart full of random, nonsensical items (including a stuffed giraffed and a midget dressed as a clown) and pulling a cereal box off the shelf that read "Data" across the front, complete with a picture of a computer screen on the front.

Sighing a little at how many questions this girl asked, Fiach patiently answered as well as he could, "Yes, they live as an egg for a week, they live in your computer or on any sort of a computer device. This jump-drive is just the easiest way to transport them that protects your data."
Fiddling a little with his penny whistle, Fiach continued, "As far as we have been able to tell, as long as she sits on your computer for the duration of a week, her egg will be just fine. But if you forget her in the jump-drive, she isn't likely to grow. You can't feed her data as an egg, but the hackers seem to attract and absorb things while in egg form." Shrugging at this particular bit of information, as he wasn't the one who had discovered it and so had little first hand knowledge of it, he moved on to her last question, "You don't have to feed them the data. They hack it and eat it themselves. For example, if she lives on your computer, she might eat up some of your documents or photographs. Though she is just as likely to eat data from the internet, or hack into someone else's computer using yours as her home base."
Having finished his explanation, he removed the Aiko egg from his laptop and placed it on the counter. Smiling over at Violetta he patiently waited for any other questions she might ask.

Violetta nodded as she took down a few more notes. "Ok, so she's pretty self sufficient when it comes to eating. Can I play with her? Does she talk, like with a voice? Or does she like type stuff out to say, like talking on an instant messenger?" As she question Fiach, she dug around in the large bag once more before pulling out a white and hop pink laptop. "I got this yesterday, after I talked to daddy about getting Aiko. He said he didn't want her eating up his computer, so I got a new one for her to live on!"
In an abnormally gleeful manner, Violetta grabbed the jump drive and plugged in into the computer, completely forgetting to turn the thing on first.

Watching the odd girl with a partial expression of confusion on his normally stoic face, Fiach's lips twitched into a slight involuntary smile of amusement. Lightly clearing his throat, he gently reached around her laptop screen to press the on button. "I have heard laptops work best if they are on..." he muttered, before answering the questions the girl had asked previously.
"They are mostly self-sufficient, but seem to enjoy interacting with humans. So, yes, you can play with her on your computer or other assorted devices. Communication will probably be mostly done by text, since they are on a computer, though who knows when they reach their eldest stage what they might be capable of?"

A young man entered the store and greeted silently as he shut the door. His quite ruffled appearance - which consisted of a jeans, a black shirt and messy black hair - probably rather gave the image of being a vagabond than a neat person living in an appartment. His greengrey eyes showed signs of lacking sleep and his cloths looked as if he had dressed him in a hurry.
"Sorry to be late... overslept.", he said with a sheepish smile that quickly faded to his tired look again. "Mr. Fiach I presume?"
He rubbed his hand quickly on his jeans and sticked it out to shake Fiach's hand.

((Partially using my post from the thread so it doesnt go to waste. I hope this is an alright start.))
Aya walked slowly threw the park, the few remaining tree's that had been there long before the hustle and bustle of the city loomed protectivly over her head. Ancient, they creaked with the earth itself, seeming to dim out sirene's, car horns, and shouting that reind suprieme in rush hour traffic. She shook her head, and raised her green eyes to the leaves above her head. Beoyed she knew to be a clear blue sky, and light flashed across her face as the leaves danced, shifting the light like an old disco ball, as dots reined the dirt path.
The dust rose to dance in the shafts of light, as she kicked her feet, coating her well worn runners with its thin coating. Her creamy skin, on closer inspection was dusted with freckles, she wore a pair of jean shorts, that frayed at there ends, and whos well worn fabric clung to her. Her shirt displayed a dragon crawling around her torso, to rest its head upon her chest, the redish fabric of the no sleeve, clinging shirt only seemed to highten her looks. Red hair tumbled untamed down her back, and her soft lips curved into a smile at some unknown thought.
Under her arm was a bag, just large enough for her lap top, and other nessecities. The black belt that wes ment to seal it shut flapped against itself, the light clinking disturbing the natural silence of what was around her. Dam, she loved cutting thew the unused paths of the park.
It wasnt long till she reached her destination, unfortunely that resulted in also returning to the city, and its wonderfull noise... Bleck. She pushed thru the door and blinked, always darker after being outside. It took several seconds, and a vigerous rub with her thumb and fingers before she could see properly. When that was an option she glanced around the store, and leaned on a nearby wall.
SHe manovered her computer bag infront of her, back to the wall. She raised one leg, placing the dust covered shoe upon the worn surface, as she raised her green eyes to look at Mr. Fiach thru a gap in her bangs. "Mr. Fiach I can come back if this is a bad time, you seem to have alot of work here at the moment." Her slight hand gestured at the other two in the room, a smile touching her soft pink lips.
She pulled two jump drives from a necklace that she had hid under her shirt. One was a lovely white, with green scrawled across it. 'Alorne' THe other was Brownish, more earthy, and in silver letters, it said. 'Syaoran'. She smiled sheepishly, "When we talked, I wasnt sure how much room they would need.. And well." A light tint of color danced over her cheeks as she shrugged, and she held them delicatly in her palm, as if she didnt want to place them down, afraid to damage them before there new residents arrived.

"Oh!" Violetta gave a rather shocked look as the computer made a slight 'whir' sound and the screen lit up.
"Oh! Thanks, Mr. Fiach!" The red head gave her thanks as she stared at the laptop, watching it load. The system logo flashed across the screen and a moment later her background showed up- a picture of Bumblebee from the new Transformers movie that had come out that summer- and soon a row of icons appeared down the right side of the screen.
"Ok, all booted up- now where is she?" Violetta lifted up the laptop from the counter and tilted it on its side, looking at the USB device carefully. "I don't- oh, there she is!" Brown eyes widening, Violetta stared in almost wonder at the new window that had popped up, a window showing a picture of Violetta's soon-to-be-hacker. "Isn't she just the cutest little egg?"
Finally looking up for the first time since she got her hacker, Violetta couldn't help but notice that two new people had entered the room. For a moment she looked back and forth between the new boy and girl, before finally verbally acknowledging them in a cute, light voice that sounded almost like a small child, "Oh, hey people!"
((Edit: I had written "That's Mr. Fiach" insted of "Thanks, Mr. Fiach!" It's been corrected so it makes sense now n.n))

Looking a bit surprised at how long it seemed to take Violetta realize where her pet was, Fiach happily looked up to realize he now had someone else to attend to.
Nodding at Aya, he picked up her jump drives and smiled, "Please wait a moment while I download them to your drives." Placing both drives into separate computers he set them up to download and turned his attention to the latest newcomer, extending his own hand he accepted the young man's and shook it, "Yes, I am Fiach. May I help you?"

The young man shook Fiach's hand and nodded in reply.
"Yes, yes. I'm not entirely sure if I'm really all that correct about the information but I heared about a certain... software, called Hackers. Some kind of little pet that would roam your computer and feeds on data."
He paused for a second and looked at the woman beside him that he noticed just now. He greeted her back as a second person entered the small shop. Before greeting the new person, he eyed her for a second too. Then he scratched the back of his head and focussed his attention on the man at the desk.
"Uhm yeah. Where was I? Oh, I remember. Yes, do you still have any of those for sale? I have my laptop with me if that would be necessary.", he said patting the black bag that hung on his shoulder.

Aya let a chuckle softly pass her lips, as the energetic girl crooned over her egg before turning her attentions to the room. The light voice, definetly bordered adorable and she raised her free hand to wave it lightly in her direction. Her voice was soft, and her green eyes sparkled with emotions, eyeing the red head oposit to her. "Hey cutie."
With her attention centered on the girl, she jumped slightly when she felt fingers dance across the skin of her open palm. Her head turned, swinging her hair to one side and exposing her freckled creamy skin. Her green eyes were wide, and her pink lips parted slighty in shock. But her fetures soon softened, as she watched Mr.Fiach set up her jump drives. "Of course, Im just glad I could provide them a good home."
She turned her gaze to the other male, that greeted her, and eyed her up for a second. Wow, jerk, in no way did she like being eyed up, it made her feel like a peice of meat. With a frown she only nodded her head in his direction, before turning towards the computers that held her jump drives.
She shifted her computer behind her back, and in a few quick steps had reached where her jump drives were busily downloading her new babies. She looked form one screan to the other, and placed her hands upon the desk so she was leaning forward. Bent at the waist her hips swayed in thought, and she chewed her lip slowly drawing the pink lip behind white teeth. She was the kind of person to offer her name, if the other person started the conversation and not before.

Violetta looked at the boy who had entered the shop first- he was little messy, but nothing out of the ordinary. He greeted her and she nodded with a small smile on her face in response before turning to look at the other person who had entered the shop. This person was female, and Violetta couldn't help but take a liking to her after her friendly greeting. Running her fingers through her own red hair, Violetta responded, "Hey baby, I like your hair!"
Picking up her laptop, Violetta moved over to where the new girl was watching her own hackers download. Balancing the portable computer on one had, she turned the laptop so that t other girl could see the screen and used her free hand to point to eh egg that was currently being displayed. "This is Aiko! Who are they?" she aked, pointing to the downloading creatures.

Seeing both girls step off to the side to watch Aya's hackers download, Fiach turned his full attention to the young man with the unkempt appearance. Nodding slightly at him, he responded in his deep voice, "Yes, we still have hackers. They're more entities than programs, though..."
Tilting his head as he looked at the bag, he shook his head slightly before reaching down behind the counter to a semi-hidden door and pulled out a jump-drive and some labels. Smiling he held the drive aloft, "All we really need is the name an a jump-drive. The hackers can live on this as their temporary home to help protect most of your files, if you like. If nothing else, it serves as an excellent transportation device."
Setting the new drive down onto the desk he adjusted his laptop screen, as he opened up a program to locate hackers within specific parameters, asked, "Would you like a hacker?"
With a friendly smile he waited for the male's response before turning his head slightly to ensure the girls weren't making a mess in the shop.
