I was wondering... normally when you go to a restaurant and you want to go to a Japanese or Korean one, it's always BOTH at the same time. As in, it's always a Japanese/Korean restaurant, and not just a Japanese or Korean restaurant. But when it's a chinese or Viet restaurant, it's only a Chinese or Vietnamese restaurant. Do you know why it's like that?
*edit* At least... that's the way it is around where I live. *edit*
Also, have you ever been to a Japanese/Korean restaurant? What's your favorite dish?
Total randomness: What's your fave flavor of bubble tea? I like honeydew. 4laugh

ive never been to a Japanese/Korean restaurant. its usually one or the other. there's not that many korean places to eat at in my area though. as for the chinese and viet restaurants, both have different styles of food.

Like a lot of other people in here, I see them apart most of the time. I have seen mixed Asian restaurants (Japanese/Korean and Japanese/Chinese) but that's usually in San Francisco, and not as much around here. I don't know what my favorite dish would be at a Japanese/Korean place, but I generally like sashimi/nigiri for Japanese places. It really depends on my mood, though, or what I know is good at the place. As far as Korean food, I'm not sure, since I haven't been to too many Korean places. I've only had Korean barbecue, which is pretty good.
For pearl tea, I like to try them all. Around here, there are a couple places, and last summer I attempted to try all the different flavors from one of them. Some of them were pretty good. I generally like mango, strawberry (can't go wrong with that!), and passionfruit, but I'm always willing to try other flavors.

Well, For korean food, there's Kalbi, chap che (noodle dish), bulgogi and lots of others. I guess the Japanese and Korean restaurants are fused together in barely any places but my own. XD
