A Bit About Her :

Standing at an average height of five foot four inches, Ariel does not appear extraordinary in any way. She has always been rather scrawny looking, as a child her family would often playfully tease her, saying she would blow away with the next breeze. However, even though her frame is lean, the girl is quite swift and lithe; she learned to use her body type to her advantage when it comes to playing quidditch with her extended family. Again, nothing about her appearance really stands out, except maybe her eyes, which are a stormy grey and compliment her dark hair.

Ariel grew up as any normal pureblood witch with pureblood crazed grandparents would. She was a tad disobedient and gave her parents headaches; but, more often than not, she'd make them laugh. She was never a favorite of her grandparents, who thought her slight attitude problems and misbehaviors were intolerable. She went to Hogwarts and was placed in Gryffindor, which shocked the family, who come from a long line of Slytherins. Her grandparents were furious and her parents well, it's not like they wanted to disown her, they got over it. After all, Ariel is their only daughter; however, to this day her grandparents still rant about their failure of a granddaughter.

The reasons for Ariel's acceptance in to the Gryffindor house remain a mystery to her family; but she knows why. The girl sat on that chair for an unusually long amount of time because she and the Sorting Hat were having a bit of a squabble. Slytherin or Gryffindor: that was her choice. The first would grant her full on acceptance in to her family (particularly dear old grandma and grandpa) and the latter would well, grant her the opposite. She had always disagreed with her grandparents' Neanderthal way of thinking, so she chose the house of Godric Gryffindor, and has no regrets.

Although she is a far cry from a hard-core rebel, her grandparents seem to think she's going to lead a muggle revolution. Her stubborn personality, sharp tongue, quick wit, and sarcasm make her the bane of her grandparent's existence. Giving advice is one of her strong points; overall, she's very courageous and loyal, a quality that marks her as a Gryffindor. More often than not, she is found telling jokes, funny stories and innuendos, and laughing until it hurts. It may not seem like it, Ariel is quite intelligent and has high marks; however, she's big on procrastinating. She excels in transfiguration.

A Moment By Herself :

Ariel sat in the common room in a cozy chair, reading a magazine. It was times like this she cherished: sitting in the quiet common room with a roaring fire, reading the latest story about the Bulgarian's new team members. Now all she needed was hot cup of tea, but, unfortunately, she had none. Oh well, no big deal. After a few more moments of silence, she glanced at her watch. It read 8:46 in the morning. With a small yawn, she rose from her seat and dragged herself to her dormitory, where she would change and get ready for the wonderful day. It was the weekend and she had no classes to attend to and minimal homework; but that could wait, she wanted to get outside and fly. Nothing compared to the freedom one achieved on a broomstick. A few moment later, she came back down to the common room, broom in tow. She glanced at the window before leaving, smiling at the sight of sunshine. Excellent, today was guaranteed to be perfect.

I like it, I do *nods*. I don't see anything that needs pointing out other than good work. You do seem a very capable roleplayer.
Welcome to Hogwarts. smile
