One of the few untouched areas in the war, New York City continues to thrive as a bustling metropolitan commercial region, stretching the term "urban" as far as it will go. The streets and sidewalks are wall-to-wall people and vehicles, and each day everybody is bustling with some business or another. Wall Street and Broadway continue to attract thousands of businessmen and theatrical buffs, and each night, the sky is lit with thousands of lights, from lights in a hotel window to the lights of neon signs advertising the latest five-star restaurant. While in the backs of their minds they know they're not entirely safe just yet, most of the civilians believe in the League of Tactical Heroes' ability to protect them from positron's forces. Each day, the New Yorker can see several heroes flying through the skies and keeping the peace, patrolling. Certain areas of the city can be identified by a few heroes who spend the most time there, and the criminals often duck under the radar using this information.
