Chu'mana wasn't so sure about this.. No, not at all. Siltim and Na'ilah had said she was ready, to find the Queen and talk to her about joining the pride, but she sure didn't feel that way. She was shaking as her light green paws padded up the smooth rocks that were the landmark of Priderock itself. Could she do this? Would she be able to talk, to walk, and to simply keep from passing out? Hopefully, yes. Her new green family had given her hope, regardless of her own doubts.
"I can do thisss.. I can do thisss.... Right..?"

-A yawn opened wide the golden maw of the queen as she lounged at the top of the rock, for a moment matching Mufasa in so many ways, one might have thought they were skipping back in time.. to the days before the great old king's auburn mane had adorned him.
Had she noticed herself, she might have lost herself in a few moments of sober nostalgia, but she didnot, simply enjoying the sun.
Already she had made her rounds today. Surely she could rest and sun herself for a little while before she gathered some of the cubs to visit the wateringhole.-

Taking some more shaky strides, the green rogue was able to safely get to the top of the rocky structure, looking around for some lioness that was the Queen. She wasn't sure who to look for, as no one had told her what she looked like, but with hope, she'd find her. The sun was shining down brightly, warming the rock that jetted out into the open air, making this the perfect tanning rock.
"Alright.. The Queen.. Who iss ssssshe.. What doess ssshe look like?", she asked herself nervously, her body still shaking with fear and unsureness of herself.

-It wasn't hard to spot the green lioness as she made her way over the edge of the rocks. Standing out so vividly against the blue sky and golden rocks. Kami looked on in mild awe, admiring the pelt as she often did vibrant or heavily patterned ones.
Her coat was so plain.. There was so much more beauty in the world then her. It was a good thing Ta had fallen for her so young, else she'd probably have lost him to some more beautiful female.
Thoughts drifting away as quickly as they'd drifted in, she called out mildly, a soft friendly tone.- "Good afternoon."

Jumping a tad, the green lioness quickly looked over, seeing a golden-looking lioness. Her yellow eyes blinked a few times, making sure she was seeing what was there. When she did realize that it was a lioness, she slowly padded her way over to her.
"Ummm.. Good afternoon. I r-really hate to bother you and all, but do you know where I can find.. Th-The Queen?"
She admired the pelt this lioness had. If only hers could be more of that color. She wouldn't be so easily spotted, nor weird looking. She really disliked her bright green pelt, and she wished it was back to the beautiful brown it used to be.
The lioness sighed slightly. If only.

-Kami readied herself to stand out of politeness but as the green lioness spoke, the queen mistook her tone for fear. And so instead she stayed down, body lounging most unthreateningly, though it was clear her attention was on her.-
"It's no bother." -She offered softly, letting a mild smile accompany it.- "I am the queen actually. Can I help you with something?"

Now things were getting interesting.
"You're the Queen?", she asked, quite stunned. Her yellow eyes blinked some more, and then she finally snapped back into it, giving her proper respects to her by bowing her head.
"Ummm.. Y-Yesssss, you can, actually. You ssssseeee, I'm looking for the Queen becausse I'm wanting to join your pride, here at Priderock. I know that can be a lot to assssk for, but I do have my reasssssonsss, ummmmm... Your Majessssty."
Stupid hissing. She hated it, especially now. It made her look so goofy when she talked, especially to someone as important as the Queen. She would have to deal with it later and only hope that the Queen had understood what she had said.

-Kami took the hissing stutter as nervousness, and being the ever shy one herself, ecspecially as a child, she said nothing of it. Simply accepting it. She did have to dig through the words a little however.
Not that she'd have mentioned it. But when finally she understood, she nodded softly, asking mildly.- "Ahh, did you just arrive, or have you been here for awhile?"

"Well..", Chu'mana began, "I have been here for only a few weeksss now. However, the reassson I came here wass becaussse of a very fine lion. Hisss name is Ssssiltim. He sssaid that he would sshow me around Priderock after I came to talk you about acccceptanccce. I have met hisss mother, Na'ilah, as well as a young female cheetah who is a family friend."
The bright green lioness stopped suddenly, realizing just how much she had said. Blabbing on and on. Surely the Queen didn't want to know every little detail from the time she first got here.

"Ahhh, so you already know someone who stays here? That makes it alot easier."
-She trusted the judgement of her pridemembers quite highly, just as her father once had. And with a whole family that accepted the lioness Kami's worries dissapated.
Shifting a little she inquired lightly.- "Do you know about the laws of the land then?"

"Lawss of the land?" Chu'mana's yellow eyes looked around, kind of confused. "Ummm.. No, I haven't. I wissshh I could sssay I have, but I can't. What are they?"
Well, one strike for her, but also a check plus. She had been doing well, until that one question popped up. The laws of the land? Of course, every pride had their own laws, but she had never heard of this land's laws. Hopefully, the Queen wouldn't mind telling her. Becoming a little nervous again, Chu'mana shifted her paws some, her tail flicking a tad behind her.

-She nodded mildly at the words, though in truth the green lioness had nothing to worry about. It was a routine question, and though she hadn't had to ask it in awhile, the answer was something that rolled off the tongue, scripted from years of listening to her father say the same.-
"Well it's more common sense and curitousy I think, but best that everyone knows it anyway." -She smiled lightly before beginning to list the little mantra.-
"All members are equal in the pride reguardless of bloodline or even species. We have some smaller members in the pride, jackals, wolves, they're to be treated with the same respect and not hunted."
"If ever you have access it is hoped you would share. The pridelands boom with children so often times multiple families will help feed each other."
"And of course treat everyone with the kindness and patience you'd like to be treated with. We try very had to keep these lands a land full of peace."
"That's it though, simple enough, no?"

Chu'mana decided to sit down, as with her nervousness, her paws were beginning to hurt. Still, she did it gracefully and with pride, to show both herself and the Queen that she was serious about joining the pride, and not backing down like she had done to things plenty of times in the past.
Very intently, she listened to the lioness talk, noting everything she said. it all made very clear sense. You wouldn't want to be treated less just because you were an animal that was often hunted by others. It wouldn't be fair, in any shape or form. Plus, Chu'mana knew what she meant. Just because her pelt had turned the color it was now, and her talking had been formed into the slight hissing that she hated oh-so much, that was no reason to be mean to her, or make her feel unwanted. She was a lion, just like the ones that generally shunned her away. Why be so cruel when you only went by looks?
"Yesss, very sssimple, actually.", she replied, nodding her head.

"Glad to hear it!" -The queen purred with soft content, seemingly pleased with the simple statement and the subtle motions that other lioness had gone through.-
"We would be happy to welcome you into the pride than Chu'mana. I hope that you find everything you've been looking for inside our borders."
