Do you prefer English Subs or English voices?

i much prefer the subtitles.
i enjoy listening to the japanese for one because i think it's a beautiful language, but also because i think that the way the voice actors speak their lines is more authentic to the way the mangaka invisioned his story being told.
they do an alright job with the english voice acting, but it never seems to carry the same level of emotion in my opinion.

I haven't seen it with the English voices either, but I reckon the subs are better.

definitely the subtitles.... not only for the reasons everyone else has said, but also as follows:
usually, the translation they use is more accurate than the one they use in the dub, because in the dub they have to match the mouth movements (this isn't as much the case in DC, because you'd lose major chunks of the story if the translation was inaccurate.... but I know of at least one episode where a word was changed)
they can't change the names in the subtitles ^_^... if they did, it wouldn't match the audio

I would say the english sub. It fun to hear them say a word in japanese and they learn for it. Thats what i think that is. ES all the way.

I prefer English subtitles. Despite the fact that I love the English language, I prefer to watch something in the language it was made in.
