Rainbow
Colours of a thousand thoughts
Treasured memories
Forgotten dreams
Red for the pain tearing us down with anger and love
Indigo for the rain reminding us of our sorrows
Green for the envy as I watch her love you
Yellow for the sun for the smiles the join us all the while
Black it whispers of death but begins the end of it all
White cold and reborn to this shallow earth
Violet violence danger in every corner it echoes
Orange joy and warmth recoil anger gathers for us to enjoy
The rainbow every colour
A thousand thoughts
Dreaded memories
Blocked out dreams
The colours of emotion
The colours of our life’s
Painted a hundred times on our faces
Draw a picture of agony to those who wait
In death
And in life
