Woo, been a while since I made a thread in here. Well recently I saw a topic on 7chan, it was about shadow people. I looked into it a bit and came to a conclusion that it's a load of megashit. But then I looked on Wikipedia.com, and I found this. So anyway if you scroll down you'll see "The Hat Man". A reported sighting of these shadow people. When I saw that, chills ran down my spine and memories flooded back. I remember as a kid having dreams of this deep voiced man in a black coat and hat like depicted in that picture, couldn't see his face, and I could rarely see him, usually I just heard his deep raspy voice. So anyway, now I kind of believe in this stuff, what do you guys think about all of this?

Hoh hoh, this is hysterical cause I had those selfsame dreams. |D I think mine came from watching a bit of a movie or something, though. I was on the porch of some run-down house on the edge of a field talking to an old guy in a rocking chair. He said something about the field, I looked over, and wham, shadow-like guy with crazy hair standing in the middle of the field. I think there's something pretty Jungian-Archetype about it all. People from different backgrounds and cultures experiencing a paranormal effect that's pretty much unchanged.

Ok just so you know,Im not a skeptic.I believe.
But after you saw the photo you said memories came back.You might of gotten these dreams from a movie like Misth.But I doubt the Hat Man is real.Why?Well I keep a small 3'' amythist pillar around me to stop paranoia.When I saw the photos I started getting alittle freaked but then when I grabbed my amythist it stopped,which proved it as paranoia(on my part atleast) but the hooded one DOES remind me of a Shade...

A friend of mine was persued on a number of occassions by the "hat man" while on drug trips.

Actually it proved that your crystal comforts you. It doesn't prove anything about the existence of shadow phenomena.

I can't say I've ever seen a "hat man", but I've seen "shadow people" from time to time. They're usually shadows that flee when I turn on the light or when I try to look directly at them. Haven't seen any for a while, but it comes and goes. Could just be my eyes playing tricks too. I don't really know.

[Raito] Shadow people sounds like a bad case of paranoia. I personally think my case has to do with some weird peripheral vision thing since I'm not really a paranoid person. I'm not real sure if I believe that "shadow people" are actually "shadow people".

I've "experienced" this sort of thing before.
Mostly when I was younger... but I'll also say that I used to be much more afraid of the dark (and potential it holds). Like mentioned in the article, it was mostly out of the corner of my eyes (peripheral vision).
I'd not describe what I've seen before as a "hat man" or "hooded figure," but more like amorphous movement, and the occasional "eye."

sorry that dose bother me to.. because they are realy a huge danger.. i was a my grandmothers house when i saw one.. a tall figer with human structer i called it a shadow man i knew of magic and these "ghost" are very bothersome from my point of vew.. ^^ realy it should not frighten you if you see one in a dream just get a basic protection crystal it seems to work the best on them. xd
(by the way sorry for my spelling )
if you have been atacked by one like me dont ever confront it dont let it see you and what every you do -.- do not try to summon one.. (stupidest thing I have ever done..)
