In my opinion, Sesshoumaru's feelings toward Rin are simply fatherly. I do not think he can love her "that" way. I know that there are a lot of people out there who are fans of the "Rin/Seshoumaru" pairing, and I'm not trying to bag on you. This is just how I feel about it. You are intitled to your own opinion, and if you think there is something more, then that's fine. We'll just disagree.

i think its the fatherly feeling rather than the romantic type... if it was animthing other than a fatherly feeling it is weird... i prefer Sess/Kag better neways 3nodding

It's definetly as a father, he still thinks mortals are trash, so Rin is more like his baby girl. He probly finds women too annoying to mate...

yeah same here.... i love the pairing Lady Sara and Sessomaru
(this pairing is off the actual show) and whatg gets me is SHE WAS A HUMAN!!!! thus the bond between rin and him is its his little girl

Throughout the series, Sesshomaru has begun to gain compassion through Rin. So, he feels more compassionate about her than anyone else. Personally, Sesshy acts more fatherly-like than anything else around her.

As she failed to appear in the manga, I don't consider Sara as a canon character. To me, she is merely a recycled Naraku/Kaguya-hime wannabe filler character. Yes, I don't like her at all.

Sesshoumaru's feeling for Rin are inarguably the feelings a father would have for his daughter - there is no evidence whatsoever to indicate he sees her as anything more than his child (or, if you want to look at it as a weird form of role revesal - a cherished pet).
