 An old hangar converted into a repair shop/apartment/laboratory. Various pieces of scrap metal can be found strewn along the floor, as well as numerous vehicles all in varying states of disrepair. A small section in one of the corners has been walled off to serve as an office space for Rhames, and a loft added to serve as a makeshift apartment for Rhames and Jager. S.A.M and P.A.D. are also located here when not running errands.

The sound of an explosion rocked the walls. Seconds later, there was the sound of coughing. Rhames emerged from what looked like a large metal cylinder, covered in soot and surrounded by a cloud of smoke.
" Ah, sheeit! Sam! Sam!" he grabbed a rag off the nearest workbench, wiping the grime from his face. "SAM, YA BLASTED BUCKET O' BOLTS! WHERE THA HELL DID YA GO, DAMMIT?!"
"Statement: Using such high decibel levels is unnecessary. My audio sensors are capable of picking up your voice without yelling."
"Shut yer yap and go replace the power coupling on the damn repulsorlift engine, and recallibrate the f#$&#xin;' stabilizers like I told ya!"
SAM released a metallic sigh. "Reply: As you wish, Master Rhames."
"And dammit, find out where the hell Jager is! And while you're at it"
"Reply: I will see what I can do."

SAM gave a metallic sigh. "Report: Units indicate there has been a disturbance in the Industrial District. Should I go and examine it?"
"Yeah, go take care of the damn whatchamacallit. You fix the stabilizers?"
"Statement: I will recallibrate them once I return."

Rhames extricated himself from the machinery, dropping to the floor. "s**t, this damn piece o' s**t hunk of metal's more trouble'n it's worth!" he kicked it, scowling. "******** this s**t, I'm gettin' a drink! PAD!"
The small robot whirred to life, hovering at eye level and beeping.
"Watch the damn shop and don't let anyone in unless it's me, SAM, or Jager, got that?"
PAD whistled an affirmative, floating off.

Kana walked into Rhames shop. "Now where is that hot headed old man at." She put her hands on her hips looking around.

Kana closed her eyes trying to ignore the machine floating over her head. After approximatly 7.23 seconds she busted out yelling,"IF YOU DON'T COME OUT HERE RIGHT NOW I'MA BLOW THIS THING UP NOW!! GET OUT HERE OLD MAN!"

SAM walked in at that moment. "Greeting: Welcome to Ephresia City, madam. How may we help you?"
PAD hovered over to him, screeching loudly.
"Query: If Master Rhames is not at this location presently, then where is he?"
Another series of beeps and whistles.
SAM turned to Kana, staring at her blankly. "Translation: Master Rhames is currently at Elaine's Kitchen in the Residential District. If you go there, you should be able to find him."

Kana had heat waves raising from her. "Why didn't you tell me EARLIER!" She stormed out of the workshop.

Rhames walked back in, immediately grabbing a cigarette and lighting it. "SAM!"
The humanoid robot looked up.
"Wut tha hell ya just sittin' around doin' nothin' fer? Go do what I told ya!"
