I've read the whole trilogy. I too can't wait for the movie. Mother and I saw previews for it when we saw the 5 movie of Harry Potter this weekend and I think mother wants to see it but not as much as me.

They must also make a game, you know it will come. But the movie actually looks pretty good. I actually won't mind if they change a bit of it since it flows with or without a few scenes. They better make it long though. And they better not skimp on the effects and the acting, else heads will roll.

OMG YES. I read it, it was awesome. I'm currently reading the Subtle Knife, and I can't wait till the movie comes out either. I'm just curious, do you know what it's going to be rated? Because from the text from the book it seems like it might be rated PG13, but it seems like the kind of book they might change a bit and make PG.

Haha, I saw the preview for it when I went to Harry Potter 5 too. x3;; I remember my friend had taken me on the first day it came out, and the preview for The Golden Compass was coming. I bent over to her and said, "I wanna watch that movie."
She said, "Why?"
I said, "'Cause it's based off a book."
And some weeks later, I checked out whole trilogy from the library. ^^

I liked the first book but couldn't make it through the next two. If it's a well done movie it could turn out awesome
