Description: Maglu'beit (Or Mag for short), seems like your average Hobgoblin; furry skin, 6'6", dirty blond hair pulled back into a pony tail, feral looking golden eyes and a flat chin and nose. He wears a common traveler's cloak, covering his traveler's clothes. He also wears leather gloves, concealing an "R" shaped brand on the back of his left hand. He seems grumpy all the time, however that may just be because he's Hobgoblin and that's just how they always look. The power of Incarnum does strange things to a person's appearance. His totem causes his posture to become slightly haunched, giving the slightest hint like that of a canine as well as shapes his ears to sharp points. The Beast Tamer Circlet upon his crown takes the appearance of a silver band that encircles the forehead at a distance of about an inch. The Blink Shirt appears to be a rough looking garment that has been made out of coarse dark fur, covering his studded leather armor. The shirt itself seems to fade and shift and fades to a barely visible mist at his waist. Patches of the garment seem almost transparent and, since the fur itself seems to shift, so do the invisable patches. The Pegasus Cloak takes on the appearance of an elegant cloak seeming made out of feathers and pure radiance. The Phoenix Belt is a belt made out of feathers, the color of fire, various reds, oranges, and yellows that seem to shift in color, pulsing softly like the embers of a dying flame. The Rage claws on his hands appear to be fur tipped with short claws. Mag loves animals. He loves animals almost more that the people that he meets with every day. When confronted about it, he will speak his mind on the matter, but he will never bring it up himself. Mag is a Mercenary, though not in the way you would originally assume, taking his race into consideration. Enslaved by a mysterious man, he will do tasks for others in exchange for money, a portion of it being given to his master. Mag was given to the man in exchange for weapons needed to war with other tribes. Though the tribe saw the youth as weak, the man accepted this trade, seeing the young hobgoblin's potential and uncovered talent. Though he hates the fact that he is a slave, he respects the position the man has over him and for that, the man speaks to him like a normal person. Mag does not speak of his master, even when provoked. Before taking any task, Mag will ask his master, checking to see if it is within the laws of the country and if it is allowable by his master. Mag will also not leave the town any farther than 2 miles unless his task requires him to do so.

Yes. The Magic Item Compendium has a lot of Soulbound equipment, if you have it.
Yay! Someone else who speaks Orc and Goblin other than me! And we all speak Draconic, nifty!

I'd just like to add that by the Unearthed Arcana rules for dropping level adjustment, yours should already be gone. If you choose to use that rule (which there's really no reason not to... I'm certainly going to) your experience should be at 6000/10,000.

Iomma Sensei Hm, we call our Drill Sergent "Mags" for short, and he even looks a little like a hobgoblin <.<... That's funny. xp And yes, most of my gold did get poured into my spear. I think it was worth it, though, it gets an additional +1 ATK and DAM for every Essentia invested into it. ^ ^ I just have to wait until I get more Essentia...

By the way your character is set up, I'm actualy interested in Magic of Incarnum. Sound's like I may have to find a few new tweaks twisted .

Best thing is, Incarnum has lots of feats and stuff which allow non-incarnum classed characters to still get some use out of it.
And why is he named after the god of goblins? o.O

>.>; I didn't know what Hobgoblins named themselves. So, I scanned the entry for Hobgoblins and that was the first thing I saw. ^ ^; If you have a better idea, I'll be glad to take it. ^ ^
