Why do people with little to nothing on their avi enter the arena? They even say in their description "I didn't have a lot of gold to work with" and yet they spent 1k on the avi arena entry.
It almost makes me wish there were a 0 rating I could click. Someone's description said "I don't know why I bother"... I commented "I don't either" and gave them a 1.

From what I've picked up, they seem to think that their avatar looks good or they're hoping to get donations and a bit of attention. Lame, huh?

i dont even bother with the arena. if i hear that my friends are in it then ill vote for them. but otherwise i dont vote for anyone else. all its only a popularity contest.

The avatars become popular because they're accurate cosplays, well-matched, or really witty. It doesn't really have anything to do with who entered them most of the time.
