Want to know something weird? Just this morning I thought, "hey, I should make a 'what time do you like to read' thread. confused
I like to read before bed. I've read that it isn't a good thing to do, because it causes your mind to think instead of calm down, but it has the opposite effect on me. Usually, if it's a book I've already read, I can read a few chapters and then close the book and shut out the light. I don't really feel ready to go to sleep until I've read something.
Aside from that, anytime I'm just waiting around. I think "I wish I'd brought a book to read; all this wasted time and I could have been reading!" But that doesn't always work. In the car, for example. I wish I could carpool so I'd be able to read during the drive to work. Hours in the car every day -- wasted. cry

I know what you mean Fairgrass, I read before bed too, though I have been known to forget to sleep because of reading sweatdrop . I also read in the car, however since I cant drive yet it is much different. Late nights are also a good time to read, the peaceful atmosphere is relaxing, but if its late night during a storm, then I cant help but read for a few hours, the mood is just too perfect.

xd I usually read when I'm suppose to be in bed, like when I really need the sleep. The books just capture my mind and never let me get any sleep... At all. This is probably why I have rings under my eyes and am constantly complaining about sleepyness even when I do get good nights of sleep.
I also enjoy reading in midday, I'm bored, have nothing to do, the house is quiet... So I pick up a book ^_^.

I like to read at night too because everyone is asleep and there is less chance of being interrupted just when the story is getting good. Although I always bring books with me wherever I go, even if I don't read them it's still nice to have them with me. I used to read while riding the car, but now that I drive, the next best thing is books on tape.

It totally calms my mind down it makes me so so so sleepy sometimes, I never drive myself to work so I read alot even at work which is totally awesome

I am always reading. I can't put it in any other way. I read all the time. The only time I am not reading is when I am driving. But in a traffic jam I have a book in the glovebox so I can read.
