Anna sat against one of the carts of her gypsy people her head digging into her arms. It was dark and her people had started thier dancing and storying to the people of this village.
" Oh come on Anna, it's not that bad." said Kero who was hidding hooded cape she was wearing.
" Kero. I just realeased a whole deck of powerful magic cards that could hurt and maybe kill people on the world. How is that not bad?" she said looking up from her arms to watch her mom dance in front of her.
" At least you were able to grab one card when they were set free."
She took out the book from her small side pouch. She clicked it open and pulled out the card, that had her name in some ink she'd stolen from an ink vender in the last town where she accidently opened the book.
" I don't see how the Firey is going to help me. It's a dangerous card. And you said in order to control it i have all three of the other elements to control it."
Kero chuckled nervously and hid when he saw her mother coming.
" Come Anna-Marie and dance with me."
Anna smiled and stood went go dance around the fire with her mother. Her mother had white blonde hair and the same ice blue eyes as her. She asumed that her tanish skin town and light brown hair had come from her father seeing, as her mother was as pale as snow.

"Nezu-chan!"
The voice of a young girl called out as she rushed across a small wooden bridge. Rocks and sand were strategically placed around a slowly running stream.
"Nezu-chan! Doko desu ka?!"
Li Akiko's lavender hair blew around her face as a gust of wind whipped through the Zen garden. She ran toward the flower gardens, trying to locate her friend.
"NEZU-CHAN!"
"Konnichiwa!" cried a strange gray and white flying cat that appeared from a bush right before the girl's face.
Akiko screamed and fell over, causing the flying animal to giggle.
"Nezumiiro!" the girl scolded. "Where were you?!"
The animal smiled, hovering just in front of her face. "I was chasing the mice."
Rolling her eyes, Akiko stood up and brushed her hands over her kimono, trying to get the dirt and dust from the beautiful fabric. "Next time, tell me. Ojiisan wanted us for today's trainning!"
Nezumiiro sighed, "Fine... but catching mice is so much more fun!" the flying beast laughed before flying off in the direction of the house.
Akiko ran after her, smiling.

Akiko sighed, looking up at the roof from where she lay. The girl was on her futon, the afternoon sun beginning to set.
"Nezu-chan..." the girl whispered to the small cat-like animal that lay on her stomach.
"Hai?"
Akiko was silent for a long moment. "We'll have to leave when Li Mee gets here... won't we?"
"Hai."
"Ojiisan wants us to find the Clow Cards... but to tell you the truth... I would really rather not leave Japan."
Nezumiiro sat up, turning and looking to the girl. "But it's your destiny."
She sighed. "I suppose..."

Three more hours had passed when she had a chance to talk to her father. She hated that she had to practically be on a waiting list to talk to her own father. To her father Work came first, and the family second.
“Enter” her father said before she even knocked.
As she came in her father didn’t even look up from his work
“Pasha my daughter, please sit” he motioned to the chair in front of his desk. His desk was covered with treaties, maps and trade routes. When he finished scribbling whatever he looked up to face his daughter
“It had come to my attention that Mr. Ellery wished your had in marriage.
“Mr. Ellery wishes to have lots of things father. He even dreams of adequacy” she said with a light laugh.
Her father was not amused he had high thoughts of the young man.
“Well then my child, He must be adequate enough since he is to be your husband this changing of the season.”
“When did this come to pass” Pasha said trying to keep her voice low.
“During the ball. Mr. Ellery pulled me aside and had quite the proposal.” her father said with an knowing glint
“He paid you didn’t he” she said disgusted. “I’m not some animal that is sold off to the higher bidder”
“Don’t yell at me Pasha lys, You will marry Mr. Ellery and there is nothing that can change that.”
He yelled “ your mother has agreed also that it would be best.”
“Don’t you drag mother into this” pasha said dangerously “Others may not notice but I do” she began not letting her father get word in “I see the way you act around that Elaine women”
“That’s not your business child, you stay out of it” he said while standing up
“You could at least wait until mother is cold dead.” she said while standing to meet her fathers glare. “No in fact I wish she was dead" With that pasha left her fathers study and when to her mothers room.
“I’m sorry mother but I have to do this, I won’t be a toy.” “ I love you mother” pasha said as she turned to leave. She gave one last glance at her mother before leaving the mansion . Pasha made her way to the docks but the ship from England would arrive till the next day.

Anna looked down. She raised an eyebrow and moved her foot. What was someone so nicely dressed doing down there. " 'Ello? What is a lady wearing such nice clothes doing down there?" she asked. Kero leaned so he could see the girl. " She far to pretty to be here.. i wonder if she got lost.. her makeup's a mess.." said Kero laughing a bit. Anna turned and glared at him and he stoped laughing.

Mee blushed scarlet. "Haji... me... ma.... shi... shi... te." The man before her was quite cute, and looked quite uninterested in the whole situation. "Akiko-san ga.... do... ko... desuka."

She promptly fainted as the man stood aside, moving in a lazy, yet smooth fashion.
