Things had been quiet lately; a bit too quiet for her likings. She was older now and with age was supposed to come all sorts of things... New adventures, new responsibilities, new people, right? Her brother had met someone new and was now spending a bit more time away from the camp. Why hadn't she met anyone yet?
She stomped her hoof on the ground before giving her head a light toss, trying to figure out exactly where she'd gone wrong. She was more outgoing than Wadi; better looking, better personality... Better lots of things. Maybe she was just looking in the wrong places.
Maybe that was the problem. Maybe she should stop looking and wait for someone to come to her. Afterall, they should be coming to her anyways. They should all be lining up for the chance to have a moment of her time... Closing her eyes she kept that thought in mind as she stood comfortably in the shade... Waiting.

He also felt like this was the first time in ages that he stretched out his legs. Extending his muscles they gave a soundless crack, like the sound someone makes when cracking ones knuckles. A silent purr came in his mind as his muscles contracted and loosened. Man he sounded like an old fart.
Cantering down a animal-made pathway the male followed it for a few hundred meters... noticing it led no where interesting he strayed off the non existent path and decided to make his own path. Not being one to sit still, his eyes flashed to the side as they picked up a color out of place. Being bright, and not really blending into the surrounding area... of course he was talking about Kizuka's single red hoof. "Trying to blind someone with that hoof of yours? If your hunting for someone in particular, they sure wont miss you! " Not stopping his path he continued on towards the mare. Though he was steadily walking slower as he progressed, after all why be afraid?

Her eyes went wide at the rather rude outburst as she turned her head to stare at its source. She snorted softly, giving her head a light toss and keeping it held high as she responded. "Hunting for someone? Why would I have to hunt for anyone? I'm not. Did it look like I was?" Stallions. Unless they were Papa, Wadi, Gran'dah or one of her uncles they weren't really worth much as far as opinions went... What did this one's matter?
"If you don't like what you're looking at you could always try looking higher." She smirked.

Aaah, a challenge "You where sitting under the tree looking lost, felt it was my duty to point out what i thought was the obvious to you."
Halting to a stop Kai didn't bother to lift his gaze at first. "And who per say ever said i didn't like what i was looking at? All i said to you was if you wanted to stand out all you'd have to do is stick out that single hoof of yours." Spirited this one was, all the more fun for him. The Quagga male lifted his gaze this time to meet the females. She was trying to look intimidating, How quaint.

"Most don't refer to something that they enjoy looking at as 'blinding'." She snorted softly, giving her head another light toss before eyeing the stallion with a sidelong glance. "I'm not lost... And even if I was I wouldn't be now. You've found me, haven't you."
She was almost amused by the stallion... Almost. Something about his attitude reminded her of her Uncle Dodger... Partially, at least. "Do you have a name or are you going to continue to stare at me without telling me what it is?"

He shrugged his broad shoulders. "Why should i do what you say 'most' do. After all if everyone did what the other would, there would be no fun in this world." Bleh, enough of this philosophical crap.
"I'm Kai. Nothing long or fancy, just Kai." He seemed half bored by the convo now. Lifting his head up he tapped his back left hoof on the ground like a trained pony would if given the go ahead. "Now are we gonna actually walk or something or just have a glaring contest all day? I dont know about you but..." Flicking his tail he started to walk towards her again, pausing as he passed her. "Whatever your name is you dont seem to be having any ammument jsut standing there so why not a change of scenery?" He then continued his walk.
