No really! Someone tried to get my stuff. So I thought maybe this might happen to you, (as it happened to a friend of mine within like...the same 10 min). Here's what you do:

Click on their profile. If it says "Hi, my name is Kevin. Hahahaaa" Then they probably aren't a mod.

Go to: List of Admin and see if they are there. An easy way to do this is to push CTL+F and type in their name. This searches the whole page for you to see if the name is there. If they aren't on the list, then they aren't a mod.

Then: Report that biatch. Yeah....feels good doesn't it? Take that you jerk! mwhahaha

Plus: A good idea is to keep their PM for your records. Crazy I know, but if you do have to go through a nice little search party once you've reported them, you'll have proof. Or if they try it again, you'll know it was the same person.
Something I learned today: It's actually called Phishing. And the one where they send you to a false Gaia site so you log in is called Redirecting.

Most hackers pretend to be ADMIN and then ask for your password, so they can "check" your Gaia. This one claimed I had been reported and had to clear me. ninja But I'm too stealthy and sneaked away...

It feels good...

That tells me that the person is looking for people that have MC's to sell, and tries to go after those people. You might want to mention that in a report.

Hah! Wow. I just encountered my first personal hack attempt.
It was the fake page that I was telling you about. I have a screen shot that I want to show you all.




Ok, Notice the web address? It says ripway. I will not supply the full address because I could be banned as well, so this picture will have to do.

What ever you do, DO NOT GO TO THIS LINK AND USE YOUR USERNAME AND PASSWORD!

Something in the address also tells me something about who is behind it. In the address, after "ripway", it says "lilcody209" which means that the person who is behind it has a username on that website by the name of lilcody209! If you guys try to find who he is, you could tell the Gaia admins, and they could possibly have a chat with the ripway people and get them to ban all of the things like that!

A lot of times, the horrible grammar and spelling will give them away. However, a few "intelligent" scammers have tried to hack me, especially after I sold a few thousand tickets on the marketplace.

I want to see someone try to scam people with the old logged-out homepage screen twisted If anyone falls for that, I seriously doubt they should be on a computer.
