You can see a bunch of movies on www.crunchyroll.com, but I was wondering if anyone saw any good ones.
I am now watching a movie called 日本沈没（にほんちんぼつ）Sinking of Japan. It's good so yeah!
This is probably a waste of a thread razz sorry!

There aren't that many Japanese movies available here (other than really old ones at a Japanese Library my mother's friend owns and bootleg videos at a Japanese Foods store), but there were a few at a DVD/Video rental place closeby (as in, 3).
Two of them seemed kind of violent and crude, I wouldn't really mind, but I was going to watch it with my mom so no go. I don't remember their names exactly, one was a weird comedy about a dysfunctional family and an animation like in Kill Bill vol. 1. The other was about murders and rape...I think.
I ended up watching 'Daremo Shiranai' or, 'Nobody Knows'. The story was good...kind of reminded me of 'Hotaru no Haka' partway through. The acting was great, especially for such young children! Yuuya Yagira (Akira) is awesome, I've developed a little crush on him. xD But...the ending wasn't really all that great. There wasn't a lot of closure.
My mom REALLY likes Water Boys (wa-ta- boizu?). It's a comedy about mens' synchronised swimming. I like the part where the guy is set on fire. ^_^

I saw Water Boys in my Japanese cinema class. It's pretty good. Another movie we watched in that class that I really liked was Ozu's おはよう. It's older and there's nothing flashy about it, but it's just a nice, simple movie (and the little boy is so cute!)
電車男（でんしゃおとこ） was also entertaining I thought.

i watch my movies in crunchyroll too i just finished watching NANA the movie and i've been watching dramas too!
