((AIM RP log between myself and L1m3_gr33n_sh4rp13))

Dimu sniffed the air, recognizing the scent mingling in the night breeze. Her star had led her back to the land of the cheetah she had met a few months ago. She felt bad because she had dissapeared rather abruptly with out a good bye, and it seems her star finally allowed her to come back to apologize. A sly smile spread across the white lioness' maw as she slowly slinked through the grass rather elegantly, Uri would be proud. She chuckled at the thought of the vain cheetah. He amused her, but she also missed him terribly, she had convinced herself she only missed him so because she had not spoken to many a persons since she met him.
She shook off any thoughts of having an attraction, they were merely friends, he gave her no reason to think more. She smiled as she glanced up at the moon. Her lovely, silver, patroness. The light that made her nights brilliant and exotic.

It was one of those nights. When the world was highlighted with silver and the shadows seemed deep and inky. Perfect for Uri. This was his time, when his pelt was the most beautiful and the most useful. Had he not eaten his fill already he would have hunted, blending in well with the mixture of light and shadow. Instead he'd run as far as he would roam away from his dwelling in Duma'bara and now stalked about his territory, wishing there was more he could do to exhaust his energy. He'd already run, cleaned his fur before and after, he wasn't hungry...

Uri's thoughts turned to those he had known, briefly resting on Kari and how she was doing, skipping over a few others...and surprisingly resting on Dimu longer than he liked. He wasn't worried about her you understand. After all, he knew rogue lionness wandered far and wide, so they had to be a hardy bunch. It wasn't that. And he had wished her luck in finding that group, the hope of home...it was just...He missed having someone to talk to. It wasn't that he missed her and her charms. It was just she had been so good to talk to.

The white coat of the lioness stood out agaisnt the dark grass and shadows. The moonlgiht glinted against her white fur as she blinked her rose colored eyes. The white lioness wondered if the cheetah was awake, or if she would run into other cheetahs, that might cause a problem, as she was technically tresspassing. She let out a silent yawn as her paws gently touched the ground with out making much noise. The lioness had been wandering long before returning here. She had managed to get a meal a few hours before as she passed near the Pridelands. Dimu wasn't tired though, she was restless. So far she had not been able to find the Crater... she was starting to wonder if it was her destiny to find them just yet.

"Funny I should find myself so close to this place once more..."
she stated softly, a glint in her eye.

While Dimu wouldn't have had a problem scenting Uri - this was his own area, after all - it took a while for the breeze to alert him to her presence. Stopping mid stride, he took a moment to analise what his wrinkled nose was telling him. Filtering out distant smells of the herd, other cheetah's musk, and other such 'clutter'....female lionness. One he recognized and Uri had only really friendly lionness in he'd met his entire life. The rest had been rather short with him.

Uri ran for a while to find her, slowing to a smooth, casual gait when he reached her range. No need to be seen running up to her like an over excited cub. Cool. Calm. That was the way to go. "Good evening~"

Dimu caught his scent moments before watching him walk up to her. Her tail swished behind her as she smiled. The cheetah still had class. She gave a warm smile and let her eyes run over him to redraw him in her mind. She tilted her head at him, letting the white hair over her eye fall back a little.

"So how've you beem Uri, it's been a while..." she said with a smile, almost with a purr. She sat herself down and watched him. She had missed him alot, but now that they were together again, she was a bit speechless and a bit shy.

One thing she couldn't help but notice, however, was his coat this night. It seemed more lovely then she remembered. It was dark and gave him a very dark and mysterious look.

A light in the dark, that's what Dimu was this night. Uri was always appreciative of beauty and he knew it when he saw it. He'd always liked - when he wasn't hating - his own white spots for how they flashed in the shadows when he moved. But never had he seen the like of Dimu's pure white under a moon like this. Wow, what a stunner...Just a friend though. A stunning friend. Who was nothing more than one. Yes, yes, best keep that in mind. It was just friendly flirting.

The charcoal cat moved to sit down near her, and offered a charming sort of smile. It wouldn't do to go to bits over a pretty face. Besides, no one liked to be stared at. "I'm been pretty" - girl - " good. How have you been Dimu? Did you find your group on your travels?"

"I'm afraid I may never find them... I've been taken around in circles... it makes me wonder if I am following the right star..." she was a bit frustrated. Her star would not let her move on yet. She did not mind being around here, but wanted to find the group of lions. Maybe her destiny wasn't to find the group yet? Oh bother, that would not do to believe.

The cheetah's golden eyes seemed to glow with the collect light around, as cats eyes often did, but his eyes were deeper then others she had seen. It was quite intreging. She looked down, seemingly interested in the grass near her paws as she realised she was staring. The lime green tassle on her tail twitched as she unconsiously tensed up a bit, not much to be noted as any strange happening. She was just growing a bit nervous, god knows why.

"And I've been fairing well... It's been a very lonely journey... I'm quite happy to wind up back here... I've missed you-well... our conversations..."

"As I have missed them, dear lady. I had been hoping you'd visit again - though I am sure you'll find the pride eventually, Dimu." The cheetah purred, inclining his head towards hers. Perhaps, he allowed himself to think for a moment, her star kept leading her back here for a reason? But he banished the idea with a graceful slow twitch of his tail tip. No no, Uri, remember yourself. She's a lion, you're a cheetah...though that didn't stop Chuakari when she found someone to be with...

Okay, just think it and get it over with.

Maybe he could be with Dimu for a time, until her star led her away. It wasn't as if anything could come of it! She had her fate calling for her in her pride and he had to stay here. Besides, who ever heard of cubs coming of such unions? They were few and far between love affairs anyway. He studied the beautiful creature by his side once more and smiled at her. Uri'd ask her sometime, for now, they could simply go home to his place to discuss something interesting again.

"Would you like to come back to my living area? It's far more comfortable and we could talk about 'fate' again. I've a new argument about - "
