Any thoughts on the two companion shows? Confidential is ok, but they make the mistake of focusing too much on the special effects scenes that only last about 3 seconds, and no one really cares about anyway. They should focus more on the plot and characterisation. Totally DW is good for younger kids, I suppose, but i find it a bit boring, and the presenters annoy me, anyway.
Any thoughts?

I liked the DW Confidential for Blink that David Tennant hosted, but I agree that sometimes when they spend a long time on the special effects details it can get boring. Still, it's interesting to see how it looks while they're filming and they have nice episode montages.
Kind of related to Totally Doctor Who, has anyone else seen the animated story the Infinite Quest? And if so what did you think?

I didn't think much of Doctor Who in cartoon form. I thought the story was lame.

The TDW presenters annoy the Hell out of me!...so I only watch it to catch the next episode clip xd

I agree that DWC should focus more on plot and characterization, but I still really like it. Especially showing the CGI stuff, as that's what I would love to do as a career. And I can't wait to see Blink's DWC on youtube after I watch the episode (2 weeks gonk )

To be completely honest, I love both. I don't usually get to watch Confidential though, except for the cut down versions. Although I did INSIST on watching David's one after Blink!! I just think it's fascinating
As to Totally, I quite like the presenters actually. I know it's a kids show, but I don't care! I think it gives me another viewpoint into the production, and I really enjoyed Team Totally, and the Infinite Quest was brilliant (BTW, that's out on DVD in October or November...).
