Sooo.... Anyone else likes/have seen this show?
I swear, the PPG won me over the years. At first, I utterly disliked it for the same reason I dislike most of CN's "brand" toons, their drawing style seemed too... Bad.
Then I sat through a marathon of PPG episodes one day (had it on while I played a game in my computer) and was amazed at how fun they are.
Then the movie came along, and I was doomed a fan (no, doomed doesn't always equal bad razz )
And, about one year ago, I started hearing rumors of Power Puff Girls, anime version. At first, my reaction was "YEAH RIGHT!"
Later on, when the first few pics and snapshots showed up, I said "Uhm... Okay?"
After watching the first few trailers: "OMG Sailor Puff?"
A few months ago I started downloading the episodes off internet, and hell, I wish I had started with them when I first heard about the show.
Demashitaa! Powerpuff Girls Z is one of the funniest anime I've seen lately. And it keeps the spirit of the original toon, it just magical girl-ify it more than it already was.

Yeah, the art is better. But they scrapped what little action they had to make it girlier!!

Nope, it still has plenty action going.
Specially after episode 20 or so.
And Sedusa and Princess kinda redeemed themselves as villains in this version.

OMG I haven't seen it...I didn't believe it was an anime....but....take a look at this:  EDIT: M'kay, so I just watched the opening of PPGZ and wow do they look different. xd ...I just didn't get the whole tranformation part of it all.... xd

Which makes their interactions a lot more interesting. Hell, after like three or four episodes of this one, I was pretty sure the new Bubbles was a lesbian. Later on, I found myself thinking "okay, maybe she's bi." rofl

When I read in one of Anime Insiders magazines, they mentioned PPG Z and I was so happy, i was bouncing up and down the classroom. rofl My classmates thought I was going crazy or thought I was high. Anwayz, they all have different names in the anime. I thought that was pretty cool. Mojo sounds funny. If they ever show Powerpuff Girls Z on CN, they should put it on [AS]. But their transformation gets annoying after awhile. Don't you guys think so?

Transformations are a show of it, they take easily twenty seconds to transform, each. And do like 30 different movements. Also there's things like when Mojo and Blossom first meet... Mojo: She's got the aura of the main character! Or how Bubbles is the token naive blonde magical girl: Bubbles: Does Monkey-san want to play with me? Or how Buttercup reacts to her suit: Buttercup: A skirt? I haven't used skirts since kinder!
