There she was, walking through the tall grass. Karanga knew that she should bring food back to her den for winter, but she was to lazy right then to even hear the sound of footsteps run toward her...

Gharadi stretched his legs. He had grown since the last time he checked, his mane was fuller, his muscles were larger, he was even taller. He smiled at himself, how he had come to be, yet he was still wandering the rogue lands, wandering around, for no apparent reason.
He was tempted to go home...home, home, sometimes.
But what was there for him? His sister, yes, but still, things were so much more interesting out here, he met a lot of interesting lions and lionesses, things were good, accept for the being alone part, Gharadi hated being alone.

Karanga figured that it was probably her imagination, but when she snapped back into her playful, lovable, adorable self, she went toward the sound she had thought she heard.
Who was that? she thought to herself.
Oh well, I bet it was another lion prancing about, I'm going to go say hello!
When she followed the foot-steps she saw this beautiful lion. "H-h-hello", she said shyly. For she had never really met a male lion. None of them would talk to her. Most likley because of her shyness.

Gharadi was musing to himself and merely walking around in circles for no good reason, nothing to do today really, he wasn't hungry, so he didn't need to hunt anything. He was just...bored, and that wasn't any fun. Flicking his tail he contemplated flopping over onto the ground, and taking a nap, nothing else to do, so why not?
He thought he was dreaming somewhat when he saw a figure, or maybe it was his mother, but upon further examination, it was a lioness indeed, but one he did not know. "Hi," he said calmly, watching her, was he scary, was he scaring her?
Was the mane too big?

Karanga just stood there, hopefuly he would go away, but he didn't. She began to say,
"I'm K-k-k-Karanga. Who a-a-are y-you?"
She couldn't think of anything else to say. So she smiled like she always does, showing the lion her pointy teeth. She hadn't known that the lion in front of her was trying to sleep, so she plomped down on her back, too.
Should I poke it's body? Karanga thought jokingly.
Oh who am I kidding, he might not like that. She said in her mind, as she rolled around in the sand.

"Gharadi," he said with a nod and a friendly smile. Why was she so nervous? He really wasn't that intimidating was he? Seriously, he wasn't a menacing lion at all, not at all, hmmm...was she just really shy? Perhaps, he had heard more then once that meeting others can stress those who are shy out...and then they seem strange.
Hmm..he guessed that everyone was a bit strange huh?
"Nice to meet you Karanga, what're you doing out here all by yourself?" he was curious, always and forever curious.
