It was actually a peaceful day in the Graveyard. Not much was going on. Most of the pack members were sleeping, having just eaten a nice gazelle that one of them had caught. Even Kailasa had been able to slip away with a little bit here and there, munching on it happily, as she hadn't eaten much in the past few days.

A lot had been on her mind. Her mother and her foster father. Her two sisters, one of which had run away, and the other who had become a rebel. The pack she was about to join, despite her good nature and her care towards lions. However, one thing that was not normal for her to have on her mind was someone she had never met before... Her father. She always wondered what he looked like.. What his name was.. And just who he was in general.

She sighed some, just laying on a pile of shattered bones. She had started to grow used to the feel of them, but every now and then, they did make her yelp by poking at her. Right now though, she didn't really mind, thoughts just flooding her head left and right.

Kucha had wanderd into the graveyard lands once again...since his female friend Fupa had decided to leave to travel by herself Kucha had nothing more to do then go somewhere himself. But the black male had a feeling he would never see that female again. He couldn't say he had any luck with girls but he was a loner after all.

Kucha was very big for being a male hyena and since he was a little older now he had grown a little more. The male was pure black with grey eyes and he had a few yellow dots next to his eyes and a tribal marking on his hip or else he was very neutral..

Dark as the shadows in the graveyard lands Kucha walked into the lands to find something to do.

At least with today being such a quiet and peaceful type of day, Kai could think about the thoughts that so rudely invaded her mind. Sure, they weren't too pleasant, but what else was there to do, right?

That's when the something else to do caught her eye.

Right there, still quite far away, a black and stumbling figure walked alone in the distance. With her two silver eyes watching the thing like a hawk, Kailasa slowly began to get up, making sure to keep very quiet and very still. After all, she was a new scout to the Graveyard pack, and she needed training when it came to sneaking up on unwanted visitors. However, before she reported this intruder to the head scout, Rasuli, she had decided to check it out first, making sure it wasn't a hyena from the pack who just so happened to be stumbling back home.

Kucha sat down and yawned he was so bored and never really took this place really serious maybe because the only hyena's he had met here was either babies or stupid hyena males that was to cocky for there own good. He grined evily at his tought and sat down to look around...

He scanned the area with his silver eyes as well and flicked his ears to pick up any sound. His sun necklace flopped down on the front of his neck when he sat down...it was pretty rare seeing a creature that had some kind of jewlery as well.

Kucha knew someone was watching him he really tough this place was so funny since he knew they always had guards out so he just layed down to wait for someone to speak or shown itself. Pretty rude of him but usually Kucha wasn't nice.

Suddenly, the black figure just stopped and sat down, it's head looking around the area. Well, that was no fun. How could she scout properly if it decided to just sit down and stare at all the bones that lay around? Ugh... Some animals were so stubborn sometimes.

So, slightly annoyed now, Kai nudged her body forward some, continuing to keep low to the ground. Her coat blended in very well with her surroundings, so she was likely to not be seen. However, her front paws sported partial white socks, and those were a big issue in such a situation as this. Still though, she continued to lay low and be sneaky, determined to sneak up on this creature, and hopefully scare it off, which would make her quite proud of herself.

Paws struck the ground slowly, the burning rose eyes flaring in the darkness, betraying the presence of the shadowy female long before she even saw fit to come the entire way into view. This was the sight seen by the small mouse that was nibbling on a seed it had found somewhere among the decay of the Elephant Graveyard. It's tiny bead-like eyes widened as the burning rose flames seemed to float towards it and suddenly a paw smacked the ground beside it and the beast of a hyena came into view, seeming to apparate right there on the spot as if some god had decided to make her just then.

Instantly those rose colored eyes flared down at the mouse and it's fur all stood on end as it dissapeared beneath a rock in the far distance, tiny body rocketing off with such force and speed that it was gone within an instant. An amuzed smile split the jagged maw of the female hyena, her blood stained teeth flashing to the murkiness of the graveyard, a drop of blood falling from one as she stalked forward again.

Pukukino, the trouble maker of her family, had left behind her mother and foster father behind in the hopes of finding some amuzement within the presence of hyenas with mindsets much like her own. Her good natured foster father and now nicer mother were hardly the hyenas she wished to stay with her entire life, of course Kino had thought of going to find her father, but that thought had come to an end when she'd decided mere seconds later that she didn't care. So that was the end of that idea and of the thoughts that might have dwelled on her father.

A firefly traced a pattern before her when she stopped to take stock of her surroundings. It's glowing pattern seemed to take form and the female frowned, hardly amuzed with it's display. Kino didn't like bugs at all, in fact most of the time she ate them if she was able to, but she didn't like the taste of fireflies dying in her muzzle, the stuff that made them glow tasted horrible. However, the trouble with this one was that it was belaying all of her work to sheild herself with her smokey colored fur, illuminating her for the eyes of lions and other hyenas alike. That in itself could bode ill.

Kucha yawned again...that hyena that tought she was neeking up on him sure was slow witch made him loose interest of this game a little. He flicked his tail again and scanned the area one more time to see if he could spot something more interesting...but nothing cought his interest for now.

Then he got up on all 4 feets again andd blinked one time before he looked in the direction of there the other hyena was walking that hyena that was trying to sneak up on him. It was really amusing actually he or she must be young others would think a little more before they challanged someone as big and much older then him/herself.

" I am sorry but your intempt of sneaking up on me doesn't work~~ "

Kucha said with his dark, deep and calm voice it was a voice that made you listen and if you listend well it was a voice that both had the knowledge of life and everything that came around it.

(( yeah it's ok ^^ ))

Kai stopped as soon as she heard the voice. A male hyena, and a very smart one too. Somehow, he had seen her. She wasn't sure how, but he had. Grumbling a little bit, she just stood up on all fours, looking at the black male in the distance.

"Alright, wise guy. So I couldn't sneak up on you. Big deal."

Yes, she was annoyed. She wanted to be a good scout, but if she could be seen, then she would have to forget it. More training was definitely needed.

However, her eyes were still very sharp, and they definitely saw the looks of another hyena a little ways away. It was a dark one, much like the male ahead of her, but not as dark. She made sure to keep an eye on it, just in case.

The words of other hyenas slid through Pukukino's ears and she narrowed her eyes, extinguishing the burning flame that seemed to make them glow and crouching down to the ground soundlessly.

The gruff voice of the older hyena was much more harsh in comparison to that of Kailasa, who Kino recognized straight off as her sister due in part to sharing the same blood as her. However the large male before her also seemed familiar, in an unfamiliar/familiar sort of way. It made Kino's brain turn and it hurt her brain to turn in circles to attempt to figure out who he was.

Yet her other option was to stride forward and make herself known to the male as she knew very well she was to her sister, and that couldn't be allowed yet. Kailasa hadn't recognized her own sister, so that was a plus, but Kino didn't want to take any chances with this male that seemed so familiar and yet not. If he were an enemy then she would be forced to save her sister and the longer that she stayed in relative seclusion the safer Kailasa was, because it would prove helpful in a sneak attack that might save them both.

Kucha yawned there where just small girls sneaking around here so not fun for him. Did this pride only have tiny girls to send out? usually many girls did grow a lot from adolescents to adults and these two probably will since they had a large mom and a large dad but Kucha was still unaware of that the two sneaking hyenas was his daughters..

" Heh i can smell that it bothers you but don't worry you get better at it once you are an adult "

Kucha had actually calmed down a lot and had much more patience then before he didn't know why but he saw no point in mucking with every hyena that crossed his way.

Then one of his grey eyes glanced towards where he heard the other hyena comming towards them...he had to make sure he kept an eye on both.

Then he glanced back at the grey hyena...there was something familiar about her scent but he couldn't tell what..

Kai twisted her nose some. Man.. This hyena was being a pain in the but. Sure, she wasn't too good at doing what she was trying to do, but she would learn more overtime and become much better. She didn't like some old male telling her what was right and what was wrong. No.. She wouldn't stand for that.

"I'll get better when I learn more.. Not when I grow. Trust me, I know. I may not be full grown yet, but that doesn't matter, nor is it any concern of your own. You just keep your ugly muzzle out of it."

And there she went. When Kai wanted to be mean, she could be. Of course, maybe to others, that was being nice, but for this gray female, that was being borderline mean. This guy was starting to tick her off, and he already had no business in the Graveyard anyway.

So, why was he here then? And why did Kai feel like... Like she knew him? Obviously, she didn't. She had never seen him before in her life. Still... There was something about him... Kai just wasn't sure what.

Smiling at her sister's sharp retort, Pukukino nestled down further into the dust of the graveyard. Dust of those long past that drifted through the graveyard unseen by those there. Unless one were a seer, then they'd of course see them easily.

Pricking her ears slowly, Kino watched the male for any form of retort or anger that might be directed towards her sister. If there were any then she would intercede, but that wasn't what she wanted to do willingly. Protecting her family wasn't exactly high on Kino's priority list.

" Heh so many bad words comming from your mouth it's almost cute~~ "

He flicked his tail and then his ears he had to keep his mind open to both the hyena girls that was watching him. But Kucha also started to feel something was odd with this meeting some of the smells here really was familiar...but could he be right? but he couldn't help but think of his old friend Peni when he picked up the scent from both the girls...could it be they was related to her?

Hmm but Peni would probably never make any babies with any other male then himself...specially not if his old friend hadn't let go of her obession of him. Then the tought hit him...maybe it was his babies? No..no that couldn't be right...

" What is the name of your father...? "

Kucha then asked with a more serious tone in his voice he had to confirm this..
