i like my scars. My scars tell stories. Like the one on my ankle that I got when I was seven and decided it might be fun to ride a blue plastic saucer sled down the sidewalk in the middle of summer. Or the one on my pinky from when I was six and was playing with the blender and didn't know how to turn it off and tried to stop it by grabbing the blade. I was a stupid kid lol. I have another one on my wrist. It's very small. But every time I look at it I am reminded of how much my mom and dad really love me. We'll draw a veil over how I got that one...

I've got a huge, disfiguring scar on my knee from when I ran into a girl during recess and fell down. It was legendary at my school, though. There was blood EVERYWHERE, and some kids swear they saw my bones. I have a few other random scars, but none with a very good story. They mostly just involve me and an unfortunate accident.

I have scratches all over my arms and legs but most of them have healed and left a few black marks gonk , and on my arm, i went on a bump and i flipped on my bike and the rocks took a big chunk out of my arm it was awful, i lost a good about of blood sad .

Scars have their own quirks, like not tanning with the rest of your skin and itching from time to time, especially if they're still healing! I've got a little one on the top of my foot from when I fell down the stairs when I was 5. That was 35 years ago! The others are a motley collection from foot reconstructive surgery, intestinal surgery and one on my head (buried by my hair, thank God) when I cracked my forehead on a wooden chair! xd

Well I'd squiged a bit of glue onto some paper and stuck a bit of metal in it...I was in art and bored u_u Well the teacher decides to come around so I grabed the metal quick, not realising the glue gun was so near and still on. Well I yelled quite a bit when the glue gun nuzzle pressed onto my skin...I tried rubbing the glue off but it just pulled the skin off and turned it yellow. neutral Well after much gunk, ouchie-ness and green scabs it healed into this weird moon-type shape. pirate

What surgery did you have Zan? Or do you not want to say? sweatdrop

If you want me to get technical I can tell you about both surgery scars...
I had an episiotomy (you really really don't want to know if you don't know what this is) and I had a caesarian section.
Also, I was put under once for a D&C. (another one you don't want to know details on if you don't know what it is)

I know what a caesarian section is, I think I know what an episiotomy is but I have no idea what D&C is confused

Yick. I've had two of those; I narrowly escaped the Caesarian! The latter I had just a couple of weeks ago and will see the doctor for follow up next Tuesday. It wasn't as bad as I thought -- and actually improved the "problem" a lot -- but ARRRGH it flared up my tendonitis in my hip! They had to give me morphine just for that! stressed
