Personality: Growing up in a bustling café leaves Jamie to be a very social guy, at least on the most basic level. He appears to the untrained eye to be an extremely helpful, selfless boy. But the truth is due to his mother’s distant nature and the fact that customer’s a never around long he isn’t used to deep relationships. Instead he grows up in the habit of seeing people as puzzles that he works to figure out and understand. From there, however, he subconsciously doesn’t know how to move forward. Since living in a café leaves the customer always coming first and since Becca sends mixed signals about whether she wants his company or not he does not grow up, for the most part, knowing how to share bits about himself with others. So while others usually like him since he’s such a good “listener” and always seems interested in them, very few actually get to know what he’s like. And his more logical approach to people can often lead him to deduct the wrong thing or overlook something about the person that is a little too deep for him to immediately view.
His fascination with people and how they work isn’t unfounded, for Jamie loves to figure out how things tick. As a child this is reflected in his love of transformers, puzzles, and models. It can easily be said that he is a smart boy. And obviously, due to working so much in the café, he is very helpful. However, he has a horrible habit of wanting to do everything. If he sees someone doing something he feels he can do better he’ll insist to take over. This can sometimes be very hard to make polite and can often offend more independent people.
While he isn’t the most open of boys, he is honest. And though he doesn’t realize it it’s very easy to tell when he’s lying. When nervous or bored he’ll often twiddle his thumbs in a very practical manner. But when he lies he tends to concentrate on what he’s saying, stilling his hands and thus giving him away.

History: Rebecca was born a werewolf, passed down on her father's side. She knew little of her mother, who passed away when Becca was but a few months old, but was never denied the feeling of family. Like many of her species, she grew up within a pack setting. She grew up constantly surrounded by familiar and devoted faces of her kin. Sadly, at the age 43 (about 22 human terms), her pack was destroyed and scattered due to an untimely fire that brought the result of many deaths, including that of her father and life-mate. According to the authorities the fire was "accidental", a story that Becca refused to believe.
Instead of facing the tragedy of her loss face on, she chose to tell herself that she would move on leaving the event behind her, saying that the world was cruel and unfair by nature. She moved to a bustling city of gaia to escape memories and the need for interaction and comradeship, something that werewolves cannot naturally fair well without. Despite her attempts to stay away from others and escape her need for friendship, something that only had brought her pain in her recent experience, she unknowingly lingered around people and any interaction she could possibly take in from them by working and running a small cafe. Though blinded by denial, she was unable to escape the loneliness that followed her and decided to go adopt a child from the Lab with the excuse of needing someone to help her run and manage the café.

Rebecca and Jamie live in the same building that contains the café. The entire back half of the building is a "house" of sorts. A door behind the counter inside the café leads into the main hall of the house. There is a staircase from there that leads upstairs to two bedrooms. The smaller bedroom on the left belongs to Jamie, while the one of the right is Becca's and she keeps it locked at all times. The lower level consists of a tiny kitchen and a living room off to the side. It's a small place, but cozy and with easy access to the café at all times of the day. There is also a back door that leads out into the streets of the city and it has a very large doggie door on it, most likely for when Rebecca goes for runs in her wolf form.

RICEE is Jamie's very first robot! It can only follow a few basic commands and is otherwise left to wander about. It has no source of intellegence either. The commands it can proccess are: Come, Stay, Fetch, and Sleep (which turns it off).
