I have really thick, straight, long hair, it's past the small of my back now, and I really don't know what to do with it. I can't pull off bangs or curls, I've tried I look like a freakish version of Shirley Temple. I also hate using too many hair products or heat on my hair. It's one of the only parts of my body I have a lot of pride for. Anyways I usually end up doing a braid or something simple like that but would like to try something prettier than that at some point. Just wondering if anyone here had any ideas?

Can you do something like this just minus the bangs?
Or have you tried barrel curls? Those normally dont make you look like a weird Shirley Temple. I look like bo bo the clown when I have curls so dont feel bad XD
I'm envious of your hair *A* I had that long of hair when I was younger but I cut it all off and now is growing it back out.
