The Nyre

The Nyre are ancient and powerful creatures that are created from the fears and sorrows of mankind. Since ancient Egypt the only people able to fight the Nyre have been the seers, this is one reason they are very dangerous. Only ten people every generation are seers, this makes it very hard to fight them. Nyre feed off pain and suffering so to survive they must create as much as possible. Each Nyre has a heart in the center of its chest that is the source of it power, this is its only weak point. To show that you have read this entire post put the cheese and wine emote on your character profile.

There are four main types of Nyre. Lowlies, Imps, Demonics, and Chaos.
Lowlies: The least powerful of the Nyre. It would tke several of them to significantly injure any human, they mostly just cause panic among the populus. Lowlies can be destroyed with the use of almost any enchanted item or silver weapon.

Imps: Imps are usually elemental creatures and can be very powerful in large numbers but are easily dispatched by any skilled seer. There are earth, fire, wind, water, ice, stone, plant, and sand imps. They can be killed with enchanted silver bells and silver weapons. The sound of silver bells will irritate the imps and is used by seers to make them come out of hiding. And example of how to kill one with a bell would be you could kill a fire imp by pressing a bell with a water enchantment onto it.

Demonics: Demonics are powerful creatures that are usually fire or ice elementals but many are not associated with any element at all. Though they can be killed by normal silver weapons just like any Nyre this is very hard to do. They can take several silver bullets to the heart and still fight, but if the bullets where enchanted they could kill them much easier.

Chaos: The most powerful of the Nyre they are shapeshifters, their normal forms are usually quite large though. They are very hard to kill but the best way to go about it would be to use a chain of enchanted silver items such as bells, arrowheads, amulets, etc. They are very hard to kill even for skilled seers.

The Plot, Rules, and Other General Information.

The ten seers have been created in the city of Ark in the year 3683. Ark is a city similar to New York but it is built on a giant bridge crossing the English Channel. They have been discovered by a scientist whose experimental human enhancement project created a child who is a seer. Several scientists have been doing similar experiments and this resulted in several genetically enhanced humans. Ten of which are the seers. The seers have been gathered together by the scientists, one of them is an expert on Nyre lore and can tell that they are the seers. They are now mostly teenagers and they must train their skills and eventually destroy the Nyre king.

The seers

The ten seers are the only people able to fight the Nyre. They have been reborn each time they die. The seers started in Ancient Egypt as the ten sons and daughters of a pharaoh. The seers are able to enchant items with many different things. There are all the same elements as there are all the same elements as imps are, along with explosion, and death. Death charms take a long time to create and have to be re-created more often then the others. To make sure you've read this post put the dramalamma emote in your character profile.

Silver is a seer's greatest weapon, because if enchantments on all the items they have wear off, it takes too long to re-create them, so then their only weapon is silver weaponry such as silver bullets and a gun, or a silver sword. Some seers take control of imps to help them fight other Nyre. They take control of them by implanting an enchanted silver bar into the imp's chest.
