A large male was aided in the help of seeing by another lion. A blue lioness named Baharikoa. She was mysterious in her own ways, though she had feelings for the blue male, and well, wanted to help him out. She came to the pride with one thing in mind -- to remeet up with her only sibling she ever knew; Miamba. They looked nothing alike, but they were still so similar in their own ways. Even though she was not as family-oriented or even as gentle as her sister, she still had a similar look on life. Though, she was more tough and was always seeking the fun side of things. But, the task she laid ahead was much more elaborate this time around. Aiding a blind lion was far more difficult than other things one could accomplish, that was for sure.

Either way, leading the blue male was one way to get into the Pridelands. A surefire excuse to come bring some random blind lion along with her. At least he couldn't see where he was going! She came here because she had searched ages asking if anyone knew a yellow lion named Miamba, and all the clues led her to the only pride she had yet to look it -- the Pridelands.

Maybe a look around wouldn't hurt? She grinned, leaning against the male. She looked into his eyes and then frowned. "Hey, Kipofu, I hope you don't mind that we take a detour. I need to see my sister, Miamba. Shes a really nice lion, and i'm sure she'd love to meet you as much as I want to see her!"

He felt like a helpless dog on a leash, but at least the kind lioness offered to help him out. His paws felt the ground gently, and this was how he walked. He could feel a few vibrations and the feeling of the lioness named Baharikoa up against his side. She really gave off the sense that she wanted to help him a lot. It made him feel very wonderful inside. A warm feeling of happiness. Though, he wished very dearly to see once more! He wanted to know how beautiful his helper was! Even if he could not see how she looked, he still had slight feelings for her. Anyone who was willing to dedicate their own time to spend on a random blind stranger flattered him.

He was attracted to the lioness whom he could not see. But, he continued on, relying on the female who leaned on him and kept him walking straight. The mention of visiting family actually made the male smile. "I would love to meet your sister, Baharikoa. She sounds very nice. I might not be able to see her, but talking to her will be enough of a blessing even for me." Content, he follow alongside the lioness and spoke no more.

Baharikoa smiled warmly as he praised meeting her sister. It made her feel a lot better about the whole situation. They may not be staying in the lands where her sibling lived, but it would be nice for a little visit. She purred and rubbed up against him. "I'm glad your okay with it. Sorry for dragging you along, I know its a decent walk for someone like you, i'm sure its hard to get around out here."

She frowned, just looking into his glazed eyes.

Content, Kipofu attempted a small smile, and then came closer to the lioness, so he did not lose 'sight' of Bahari. "No, no -- its okay. I'm glad your helping me out, anyways. It makes this a lot easier. I'm kind of glad i'm not on my own. Thanks for aiding me. Honestly, i'll travel the world if I have to, as long as someone is willing to help." He nodded, blinking his eyes slowly. He just wished deeply that he could view the lands. Not only did the ground feel great on his toes, but the air was fresh, and sweet smelling. These Pridelands must be beautiful!

"So, what does the lands look like, Bahari?"

She sighed with relief. "Really? That would be a lot of fun to do. Traveling across the lands, and bringing you along. A challenge for me, but a fun one, at that! I'd love to see all that can be seen ..." Though, the thought of her seeing, made her frown once more. Kipofu could only use his other senses to help him understand places. Would it be fair for him to have to go through with that, not being able to view the landscapes and beauty? Though, either way, it would be quite the adventure, and even Kipofu didn't seem to mind one bit.

"Well, the pridelands, is mostly grasslands, pure green in colour. The lions here are very nice, and love the pride. The sun always shines on these lands, but its beautiful because of it. I heard the rulers here are very nice, also."

"It sounds pretty." The Mistweaver nodded, and then followed closely the Baharikoa. "So, we're looking for your sister? Shouldn't be hard, right? I'm sure the other Pridelanders know her. We could ask around for directions or something, right?" He asked many questions, and wanted to know so much about the world around him that he could not see. It would be easier to he'd been to the lands before his accident, but he just ... could not picture how beautiful the lands were, no matter how hard he tried.

"Well, then. I'll just follow you, and keep quiet. I'm sure you know where your going, right?"

"It is, Kip. I just wish you could see it." She leaned her head on his shoulder, somewhat upset that he could not. Though, as he mentioned Miamba, her focus returned. "Yup, i'm sure we'll find her eventually. I don't exactly remember where her den in, but like you said, we can ask around. I've been told that the Pridelanders are kind, peaceful lions, and we can put them up to that test soon."

"Nah, you can keep on talking, Kip. Its nice to hear your voice."

"I don't need to see it, to know how it looks, Baharikoa. ... I can see it with my heart." He licked her head as she leaned on him. Even though he could not see her, he could still show signs of affection. He really liked the lioness, for taking the time to aid him in his time of need. "Well, thats good. I don't mind walking the distance. I'm sure we'll find her eventually, but until then, you can watch the views and I can enjoy the aroma."

"Really, you like my voice?" He blushed lightly, grinning. "Thats nice of you."

She smiled warmly as she was licked on the head. "Of course I like your voice. Its better than most lions. Much more calming." She led Kip towards a hill, where a den was in clear view. She just, couldn't recall whose den it was, or if it was even there before. Shrugging, Baharikoa padded ahead. "Come this way, Kip. I can see a den ahead, but its still a ways." She rubbed against him, and continued to speak so that he'd follow her.

"No need to worry, i'll make sure you follow me all the time." She chuckled lightly.

Kipofu followed the sound of her voice like a dog, smiling. "Thank you, Bahari. Your very kind. I can't say I think my voice is calming, but i've never exactly been around loud or obnoxiously crazy lions or other animals. I've just ... been with my sister and you. You both have very sweet voices, so I cannot compare to anything else."

"Alright then, Kip -- we're off to see my sister. I'm sure shes not too far away, right?" She brushed against the male once more with a wide grin and then she led him forward. There was no telling what Miamba would say when they reached the den where she lived, but even Bahari had no idea what her reaction would be when she discovered how large their family had grown! But soon, Kipofu and Baharikoa would start their own family together, it just seemed to be that way.

With a wide smile, Kipofukakita'Maji trailed behind Baharikoa swiftly. Though he could not see, he trusted in the lioness, and was eager to hear how her sister sounded, and what would become of the duo once they reached their destination. Only time would tell, naturally. The pair headed off towards a few dens, hoping to meet up with whom they were searching for.

Maybe luck would be on their side this time.
