Family:Father(Jackson Cartan) is a squib, and his mother(Helen Cartan) is a muggle. On his father's side, his grandmother was a pure-blood, while his grandfather was a half-blood. Both parents work for thier local newspaper, his mother as a writer, his father as a photographer.
His magical grandmother(Jane) was an accomplished duelist until she was seriously injured in an competion in 1991, while his grandfather(Patrick) was a talannted potionmaker and healer, and helped to produce several magical antidotes at St.Mungo's. He has one aunt(Cathren McSolen), who, unlike his father is magical. She married a wizard(Johnathan) that she met while working in the ministry. The two had two daughters and a son,
the oldest being a 7th year Hufflepuff(Nicole), a 4th year Ravenclaw(Rose), and a 2nd year Hufflepuff(Thomas). Xavier had met his magical family before he attended Hogwarts, but the contact was limited due to his familys decision to keep him in the dark in case he didn't gain his grandparent's magic. It's rumored that he's the descendent of Rowana's Ravenclaw's uncle's cousion's nice's son, but that's more of an urban legend.(Note:Not entirely to be taken seriously, more of a jab to the people who try to say they're related to Harry, the Weasley's, Gryffindor, ect.):
A Bit About Him/Her:Very book-smart, but has a tendency to be light-headed and to procrastinate(also has less then adrimable spelling). Is incredibley shy when he is first met, but an very fun and open person when you warm up to him. Has an incredibly sharp wit, and has a gift with comedy and irony. Wears his heart on his sleeve, and is usally easy-going, but will agressivley defend friends and family. Feels at home in the magical world. :
